About Me:  Hi!  I’m Wednesday Harrington!  Often described as the “anti-model”, I don’t pretend to be a haute coutere, sculpted cheekbone diva with an eight grade physique.  Hell, I’m five foot 3, and 125 lbs, and I’m bringing curvy back.  Other points of trivia:  I am happily married. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, attended Law School briefly, and also completed graduate coursework in an accredited MSW Program.  I have a classic beauty which lends itself well to 20s and 40s era pin-up glamour… however, I’m a chameleon, and unafraid to be “unglamorous” or even “ugly” for your camera, for we are all committed to the same outcome:  a high quality image the way YOU want it. 

My modeling ethos:  I do not fall into the camp that feels that models are a “dime a dozen” dependent on a truly exceptional photographer to make her look good.  Nor do I believe that only beautiful models can create beautiful images.  Photography and modeling are both creative, artistic disciplines, each interdependent on the other for the genesis of inspiring artistry.  Modeling isn’t about ME.  It’s about a process, a collaborative give and take between the spectator and the image.  And safe, comfortable, creative and committed models, in my opinion, create the best images.

I am available for prints/stills, video work, and requests for custom content.  I welcome photographers and artists from all walks of life and experience levels.

Fetish modeling… open to several genres including bondage/damsel in distress motif, glamour bondage, harder ties/suspensions, gags, some bdsm content*, tickle*, hosiery/nylon/garters, boots, gidrles/corsets, fantasy fetish costumry, leather, latex, splosh/messy mediums, ballbusting, balloons, trampoline, giantess, foot stomping/crushing, spanking*, non-sexual foot and toe modeling.  I am also open to new ideas, so if you don’t see your fetish genre represented, it never hurts to ask.  The worst I can say is “no”, right?  *Means I have some key limits in regard to these genres.  Please ASK.  Also, please note that my port does NOT reflect my extensive experience in fetish photography, so please ask for sample images if you are unsure about my appropriateness for a particular project.


BOOKING ME: 

Please send inquiries to my e-mail, wednesdayharrington@yahoo.com, for a timely response to your inquiry.  Please state your name, pertinent contact information, including a phone number if you wish me to contact you directly, and your project description.  In your description, please describe as fully as you can the style/genre of shoot, the intended usage (custom/private, print, internet website content, etc), the date of the proposed shoot and the timeframe anticipated for each shoot.  Indicate whether the shoot will include a model release and/or professional contract.  If you an established photographer or producer, please include links to your profiles or sites so that I may be able to view samples of your work.  Also include at least two model references and their contact info, including emails and phone numbers.  Also, indicate the rate of compensation you are offering and whether you are also providing allowances for travel expenses, if applicable. 

MY RATES:

I am available for paid shoots, and willing and able to travel for photographers and producers who pay for or reimburse my travel expenses, or provide a travel stipend.

My rates are negotiable, but generally I require a shoot minimum of two hours if you are local, and 3 hours if i'm on the road.  I offer both hourly and day rates.  If extensive travel is involved I may increase my rate to reflect the individual expenses I am incurring to make your shoot possible.

A deposit is always appreciated, to help defray my travel costs, and it can be credited toward a cancellation fee if you need to suddenly cancel your shoot…

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

I take modeling very seriously.  It is not a hobby for me, but a source of income for my household.  I am very responsible, reliable, and professional.  If I must cancel with you (a RARITY!), you can bet I have an incredibly good reason, and will bend over backwards to reschedule at your soonest convenience, and probably even discount your next shoot.   Please be professional and grant me this same courtesy. 

If you must cancel, the sooner you can cancel, the better.  I am open to rescheduling the shoot if it can be done within two weeks of the original date.  Your cancellation and/or request to reschedule must be made in writing, as well as followed up via telephone. 

Cancellations:  less than a week before the shoot = ½ the cost of the agreed upon amount of compensation for a full shoot (100 minimum).  Shoots cancelled with 48 hrs or less notice will be subject to the entire fee agreed upon for the shoot, as I have blocked time to shoot with you that could have been reserved for other photographers, and I often have already incurred travel expenses to get to you.  This insures that I will not suffer an egregious loss of revenue due to your cancellation. 

ON ESCORTS:

Please note that I bring with me a safety companion for all shoots, whether they are fine art nude or bondage.  I adopted this policy as a result of actual negative photography experiences, and because, as a mother, I’m naturally neurotic about safety.  I feel that my safety is non-negotiable, and want to ensure that my comfort level is always optimal so that you get the best possible images from me.  It has been my experience that escorts keep the model safe and the atmosphere professional (i.e. free of lewd or harassing commentary, unnecessary touching, etc).  I feel that for most professionally minded photographers, this will present a non-issue; however, even photographers uneasy about escorts have found mine unobtrusive, unthreatening, even helpful.   I have happy professional photography references for both myself and my escort, attesting that he will NOT break your stuff, steal anything, slip on a banana peel and sue you, cause any “drama” or contribute to a negative mood on set.  He won’t be a distraction during the shoot and diminish the quality of the photography.  Bonus:  he is also a gifted shibari rigger and back-up camera guy (think EXTRA photography or video content), and has been quite an asset to understaffed sets, so just put him to work!  Again, I would be absolutely thrilled to provide references for myself AND my escort upon request.  And if you would like to bring someone along to the shoot, like a wife or an assistant, that’s perfectly okay with me.


On TFP:

  Generally I entertain 1 or fewer TFPs per month.  Generally I do NOT offer nude or fetish content for TFP… If my schedule allows and the content falls within my limits, I I will consider TFP with exceptional photographers and models who wish to create and share content for their sites or clips stores, as well as makeup artists…

For exceptional photographers, on a very limited basis (read my statement regarding my TIME constraints), I will shoot for shared rights to final images for self-promotion, such as autographed prints, tear sheets for print ads etc…

On occasion, I will consider trade modeling for product, wardrobe or store credit.  If you are a designer of awesome lingerie or corsets, bridalwear, fetish footwear or gear, contact me!  I will also, on occasion, do a trade for service (eg:  if you are a webmaster, a graphic artist, etc)…

My 2008/2009 TRAVEL SCHEDULE

my travel schedule has changed... I'll be in Texas in February, in Seattle in June, and in Tampa for Fetishcon 2009 in August.  Beyond that, i am suspending future travel dates unless my travel is paid for.  I have a number of family expenses that make traveling difficult at the moment...
