Hello My Name is Smart Alix
If I sent you a friends request its ALWAYS because something about your port is inspiring, I probably want to work with you, or you have a look/photo that I want to recreate.
Proud to say that the models listed on my friends list are ladies that have shot with me and/or have been featured on my website. Models looking for an opportunity to get some fresh photos published on the web should definitely contact me, I am always looking to give great photos some recognition.
**TF ??***
YES !!! I shoot tons of TF work. It's a great opportunity to learn new techniques and build rapport with models for future collaboration. Altogether there is always a cost involved. Someone has to make a location available if the shoot requires a studio, a model will still need clothing, makeup and hair done, you get the picture. So TF means to ME that we are shooting without charging each other for the service of modeling and photography. Please keep that in mind !!! Case by Case I can supply MUA and stylists if needed. I have no problem working with a model that can style herself, I think it's a great bonus !!!
Shooting for a Publication? I'd love to be considered for the opportunity. To date, I've shot quite a few models for some great new magazines and will continue to do so. Models, if a pub wants photos from you to publish, but they aren't supplying a location and photog? then you should be making them aware that it's going to cost them for your images...(Refer to the paragraph above about TF). Choose wisely, a magazine that can't afford to compensate you for finding a studio, photog, MUA, and styling might not be serving you much benefit. I still consider these TF shoots, but I won't pay for the studio, styling and makeup just for the opportunity to have no control of the images.
Shoot for my website? That means I reached out to you. And that also means I will probably take care of everything, location, wardrobe, MUA, and styling. Primarily the content on the site is currently of the 'eye-candy' variety. I am here to diversify that genre. I believe that an element of sexiness can be manifested in unlimited ways when I'm holding the camera and the model is confident and comfortable. I also allow photographers and models to submit their work to the site, so a lot of the content isn't just my work. I am mindful of keeping traffic on the site and very mindful of how hard it can be to get some recognition for your work.
*You can't make great pictures on your own if you cannot appreciate great pictures from someone else* I love a great picture, no matter who or how it was created !!!
I look forward to working with models of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds and looks. I don't agree with limitations and boundaries, I'd rather push and test them instead. Altogether the ideal outcome always is to make a beautiful unique image that I and the model can be proud of.
I usually staff an experienced MUA on my shoots. Hair, Clothing and overall stylists are also available depending on the shoot/look.
