Aspiring model and actress. Born April 16, 1989 in Ojai, California. Ursula Madrid's father, Pablo Ruiz, was a successful business owner and her mother, Mayela, was a County Nutritional advisor.
Ursula says that she developed a love for food as a kid—and not always healthy food—from a very young age, devouring chicken, tamales and pastas at family gatherings. "I was taught to enjoy food, not to fear it," Ursula recalls.
She never developed healthier habits until she was told by her doctor she would die from obesity if she continued on this path tipping the scale at 300 pounds. With her 3 year old son and husband on her mind she started a healthy lifestyle.
 
Nevertheless, Madrid says that the teasing and abuse taught her the importance of kindness. "It turned out that the best things [to happen to me] in my life were to be made fun of, and to have no friends, and to feel miserable every single day."
 
By 2012, at the age of 23, Madrid had outgrown her awkward phase and begun to resemble the tall, curvy, caramel-skinned and brown-eyed beauty never knowing she once was 300 pounds and now lights up runways and photos. However, her first attempts to find a modeling agency were met with rejection and discrimination. Madrid remembers. Later that year, she shot her first print piece for CaliClip Hair Extension Runway show.
Madrid’s well on her way to stardom, performing at local Artist Events to gain exposure and linking up with local photographers, MUA’s and Hair Artist . Next task at hand is to conquer the Runway of LA’s Fashion Week. Now I have lost the weight and want to live my DREAM I'm looking to expand my knowledge and portfolio.
