Born in 1981 in the small town of Cassopolis MI Omiya “Miya Marie” Barnes is an up incoming model/actress that has emerged on the scene and in the hearts of many. Growing up between Chicago IL and Elkhart IN she had many different experiences with the country life and being a city girl. At the young age of 9 Miya Marie decided the world of fashion was her calling. Role models like Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell have encouraged her to pursue her dreams. She was determined to stay focus on her goal of becoming a model. Miya Marie has walked many catwalks from Chicago, IL to Austin, TX. With modeling in her heart she also decided not to stop there and tested her acting skills in independent films “Zzz’s and UndaBossin.”
In 2011 while living in Austin TX Miya Marie decided that she was tired of the simple stereo types of a model and opened her own business “Hello Dolls Modeling & Talent Agency” She has focused her agency on different types of beauty and building self-confidence. Strongly believing in her motto GEE which stands for Guidance, Encouragement, and Empowerment. It is her goal to encourage people especially our youth to achieve their dreams and not let anyone or anything get in their way. To her any dream is achievable. Miya Marie has linked with many different local business and talent and making a name for company Hello Dolls. With her hunger for success, entertaining and compelling stage presence she will go on to walk many different catwalks throughout Texas as well as many other opportunities. With her future endeavors, becoming versatile, a great achiever and most of all making other models and businesses stand up and notice all her hard work paying off. She does this because of her love of fashion, people, her 4 beautiful boys, family and most of all her fans. Miya Marie works are to make a better life for her children, getting it together for her brighter tomorrow, her new beginnings and fresh start.
