Tour of my outdoor studio in Las Vegas
Yup, very good ventilation and full of natural light.

Looking to shoot there soon, any takers?
Studio A
Studio B
Studio C

What I am currently looking for to shoot...
1. Asian females for beauty, fashion and conceptual. You do not need to be tall, just a proportionate face AND body. Small boobs ("B" and smaller) preferred but not necessary. Don't be afraid to ask, I won't bite...... hard...
2. Androgynous looking male or female models, any ethnicity for fashion. Might be quite raunchy, so apply at your own risk.
3. Interesting looking face (use your imagination) for portraits.
Disclaimer: Shoot will take place either in Las Vegas or LA from now till September. October will be in New York. There might be some nudity (think European fashion) for 1 & 2 so if you are prude, get out of my way. Just PM me your schedule if you are interested and we'll take it from there.. Apply at your own risk. You have been warned. And yes, this is TFP but... PM for details.

Anyone who can solve or reconcile the MM paradox please message me
Agency models expected to be paid or TFP if there is a tearsheet.
Photographers expected to be paid if shooting tearsheets or TFP only if models come from an Agency.

Before you contact me with an offer to shoot your products for your website and offer me the wonderful opportunity to credit me in return...
I went in to Walmart the other day and got some groceries. I asked to speak with the manger and basically told them that if they let me take the groceries for free, I will credit them by posting everywhere outside my house that my groceries was from Walmart. Guess what they did?

The Skinny...
I am originally from Singapore and now resides in Las Vegas but represented by an LA based agency.
My photographer friends call me a "pervert with talent". My model friends tell me "you are so funny". I think I am "tall, dark and handsome" but I am *really* "sarcastic and cursed with an acidic sharp tongue". In reality, I am an "orgasm donor"....
If you want to work with me, consider carefully the above. Being professional does not mean not having a really sick sense of dirty humor. If you are too uptight or have no sense of humor, look elsewhere. If that did not bother you, consider also below:
- No, I don't pay unless you pay me (or somebody else do).
- I *STILL* do not and will not pay even if you take off your clothes. I'd happily take off my clothes too and shoot you while naked if you insist on being "fair".
- If you still think that taking off your clothes = getting paid, then I shall shoot you while being naked and you can pay me. Keep your clothes on.
- If you are not comfortable to shoot my way TFP, then pay me to shoot your way.
- If you *still* insist on being paid, I will pay your fees if you pay mine. I'd be happy to send you an estimation.
- Just because you are "agency represented" does not mean I should pay you. For the record, I am also represented by an agency based in LA. Last I checked, it was harder for a photographer to be represented than a model, so if you really want to talk about money, I would be happy to have my agency bill you.
- Stop bragging about your experience to get paid. You can do something wrong for 50 years and still call it experience.
- Now for the other breed known as Make-up artists who agreed to a TFP but wanted a kit fee: I know your products cost money and asking for a kit fee is a way to cover your costs, and I will certainly pay your kit fee IF you pay my battery fees (my flash needs batteries each time I shoot); my electricity fees (those hours of processing and retouching on a computer, redundant backup uses a lot of electricity which I am paying for); storage fee (in case you lost your digital copies and ask me for them again 5 years later); creative fee (what? you don't expect to get paid to cover your expense while working on my wonderful idea while still getting images to promote yourself do you? Or do you actually think you can go in without paying something and getting something in return?); travel fee (not on the day of the shoot, but countless trips to scout for locations); production fee (it takes a lot of effort to get everyone together for a shoot); labor fee (I do have alot of equipment and carrying them around by myself is not easy); assistant fee (if I no longer am able to carry my equipment around by myself) and....
- For every reason you can come up with on why I should pay you, I will give you 10 on why you should pay me. This applies to models, MUAs and/or hairstylists. I don't care who you have worked with before, it doesn't mean a thing.
- And please, stop assuming that the photographer is the only person to have to pay. &*^%$#%^&*(&^%$#%^&*&^%$#$%^&*
Now that we are done with the "paying" issues...
- I do not seek to shoot nude, but please be VERY comfortable with your body if you want to shoot with me (its called being professional). There is nothing that irritates me more than a self-conscious "model" who is overly concerned about nip-slips or panties (and other things) showing. If you are as described, STAY AWAY FROM ME! which brings me to...
-
The one thing I will NOT shoot no matter how cool the concept unless you pay me... Images of smoking or makes smoking looks cool because I know for a fact it is
NOT! Got a problem? Take it elsewhere.
- Escorts are great but they must be willing to run errands. I do not care if your escort will not interfere, I do not need nor want another statue around when I am working. I expect escorts to be pro-active, to carry stuffs, to buy refreshments etc. And yes, if escorts are around, THEY PAY for food and drinks, no exceptions, otherwise they are just useless piece of junk lying around. It also buy them the rights to be on my set.
- Last but not least, I am not here to please people nor make friends. I am here to look for like-minded people to help each other improve our portfolios. Of course, things are different if you pay me...
- Oh yes, I am a bloody cynic and I rant a lot. And I cannot stand people who pretends to be poetic or inclined to literature just because they can quote some esoteric poem somewhere by cutting and pasting. So here's to all you wannabes out there and those who only TFP for tearsheets:
"If you go kill yourself now, you can probably get a full page on the year book..." - Stewart Gilligan Griffin
And you know what REALLY grind my gears? When someone buys a piano they are just someone who owns a piano, not a pianist but when someone buys a DSLR, they are not someone who owns a DSLR but a
PHOTOGRAPHER!!! Interesting world we live in.
And so-called "friends" who have commitment and responsibility phobia who tells you one thing in front of you and do something else behind you; "friends" who asked you for help and in return gets jealous of you and block your path by hiding information so you do not shine brighter than them; "friends" who pretend they no longer know you and erase all traces of your previous acquaintances after tapping onto your network to show the world who they know; "friends" who silently sabotage you by undermining you when you help them to get exposure by bringing them in to assist on a job that you do not need help with and selflessly split the profits with; "friends" who cannot even have the decency to call you to acknowledge a receipt of a package you made sure they receive by paying for an overpriced shipping and leaving countless message to ensure that they got it but instead write a 3 worded email as acknowledgement; "friends" who will go the extra mile by ignoring mutual friends simply because they knew all that transpired as outline above. But its "friends" like these that reassure you that you are the better one. Even so, they really grind my gears.
- And to answer a very important question,
YES, you may
TIP the photographer! Even if its TFP.

Professional Overview
I always Photoshop images.
I started photography with 35mm film on the Nikon F-801s.
I can do darkroom work.
I do not have a full time "day" job. Photography IS what I do full time.
I search for models everywhere.
I hate shooting in studios. Unless the subject is a celebrity or they need the privacy to do something with me *wink wink*, studio shots are boring.
I always try to work with a makeup artist and hairstylist.
I do not care to shoot weddings but I love attending them, especially when the bridesmaid are hot.

But smart brides always choose bridesmaid who are not so hot
I’m a Mac. What the hell would I do with a PC running Windoze?
I have had both Canons and Nikons, I hate Canon's user-interface.
I shoot in RAW.
I don’t use color profiles unless its a paying commercial gig.
I join forums just to antagonize everyone else.
I not only have published work (which is common), I also have a full article featuring yours truly.
I buy new camera bodies just to be ahead. Despite what other photographers say, gears
DO matter. Just ask anyone using a Rebel and kit lens trying to shoot a fashion runway.
