I do travel to Hollywood Hills, CA from time to time and stay in a house that was once owned by Marlon Brando and also by David Carradine.

As a freelance professional photographer, Jon Allen Rowader is interested in continuing to enhance his talents and expand his portfolio. With over 36 years experience in photography, 12 of those years were working with the federal government in Washington DC. The majority of that time he was assigned to the Executive Branch as a photographer under 4 Presidential Administrations.

Happy to assist beginning or current models in portfolio development and/or expansion. My goal is to show creativity, diversity, and flexibility in all images created by me.

You will find that I am enjoyable to work with and I always take the time to make models feel comfortable during their shoot, so they will get the best results in their images.

My style is a mixture of the minimalistic, captivating, and creative techniques.

I enjoy working on location. 95% of the shoots I do are on location. Will travel depending on the project.

I have reasonable fees that start at $200.00 (ask for details) and accept occasional TFCD. If you are serious about modeling, then you should invest the time and expense to promote yourself. My fees are very reasonable (and competitive with the current market) for headshots, portfolio-building, portraits and commercial work.

Because time is valuable to both the talent and photographer, please do not commit to a shoot if you will not fulfill your part.

"A deposit or full payment must be made before the shoot actually takes place. Deposits or payments made will be refunded if cancellation is made 24 hours before the shoot."

Automatic Cancellation if I don't receive a callback or confirmation call at least 24 hours before the shoot.

SPECIAL NOTICE: When employing a Makeup Artist/Stylist for your shoot, please allow for their time before hand so the shoot can begin on schedule.
EXAMPLE: If the MUA/Hair Stylist needs a hour to do makeup and hair, they need to be there on set 1 hour prior to shoot time!

I highly recommend using the skills of a trained MUA/hair stylist for your shoot!  If you need a recommendation, please let me know.

If you are an enthusiastic model willing to give 100% in looking your best for a shoot, then you are the type of model I will enjoy working with!
