I've been a professional photographer since 1981, although I am now mostly retired. I started out shooting on film, painstakingly using different types of film and techniques to produce various results followed by spending hours in the darkroom to get the effect I was looking for. These days I have converted 100% to Digital, but I try to use the native images straight from the camera, with very little to no Photoshop manipulation ..... it just seems to me that there is a difference between being a photographer versus a graphic artist. I try to keep my shoots more traditional, yet current and relevant. I keep my client base very small now and I have other business interests that allow me to be very selective about what and when I shoot.
