Merleos

I pursue digital photographic art alongside other lifelong artistic interests.  Most of my images involve bodypaint, cosplay, figures, and portraiture, though I'm beginning to branch into other areas. My concept work shifts through time, but currently includes four series:  a collection of poetic inscriptions on bodies, works placing figures with sculptures in exotic landscapes, a "sculptural" series of figures covered in mud, and explorations of full-body paint along several subject themes. As the work has become more seriously engaged, I have also collaborated with several other artists, photographers, and models.

I will work TFP and/or share stock. I print up to 13x19 formats.

My friends here are mainly people I've worked or corresponded with, who have serious artistic interests, or who I know personally.  I definitely want to expand my connections and work regionally while developing more skills in photographic techniques and experience with editing software.  I'm always looking for artistic collaborators, and will help models expand their portfolios into the areas in which I work. My wife works alongside me on most shoots.
