I'm doing a 2012 Portfolio update! I need collaborators! Winter means studio.. but I'm looking for great stylists and MUAs and models that want to collab on port updates. I'm ALWAYS up for 'lifestyle' shoots... people in places doing things.
I love making fine-art portraits, glam, as well as landscapes. I do commercial work primarily for agencies, book & mag publishers, jewelry, and I LOVE to shoot dance.
Model port shoots are typically about 4 looks. They take a couple hours and we'll end up with several hundred images that we choose from together. We'll generally do headshots, 3/4 and full body shots with each outfit. (If we have good weather, we can get some outdoor shots on the river as well.) You'll get high-rez retouched & finished images of the best, and you'll get a web gallery of the rest that will be live for at least 6 months. (I don't do highly stylized retouching - but I can recommend some great people for that.)
All my lighting gear is suitable for location work.
I am always looking to expand my portfolio of professional high quality and fine art images. And it's that time of year to do an update of my own port! Currently looking to shoot on TF basis:
- environmental/lifestyle portraits - people in interesting places
- dancers - performing, rehearsing, and studio stuff like this...
vanessa
- maternity
- new (experimental) studio lighting setups. Requires patience from the model!
Otherwise, I will do occasional TF deals if I have the time... and the work pushes me in a new direction. I've got a list of shots I'd like to do with someone on a TF basis -- message me if you want to know. You have ideas too... let's collaborate! Release required.

My studio is in Westport, CT overlooking the river. We keep things pretty professional here, but have some fun too. All shoots will involve at least three people.. me, the model, and my studio manager/creative director. And hair and makeup people when appropriate. If you want to bring an escort, I'm ok with that, but your escort should be prepared to take direction and help with whatever needs doing (typically holding reflectors or lights), or stay out of the way as directed.
