Pangea's Split
as continents drift apart, grains of sand
in between, reach out for each other,
quivering in goodbye, and the seas rise to
alienate each from the other -
the peninsulas lose touch as
generations bleed away from each other,
that when we met again, we failed
to recognize our
sameness and difference
and now we say to each other:
RACISM
- IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD!
but we the hurt ones know
it's only a projection.
