I am an experienced freelance portrait and events photographer based in Canterbury and Horsham. I'm looking to do more fashion and performance art photography and am willing to do TFP for mutual benefit. I am open to any creative suggestions - there aren't many things that I won't try (at least once...)
I also have a number of different personal projects on the go and so am always looking for models, MUA's, stylists to collaborate with. Here are just a few:
A narrative portraiture project to capture images of creative people that don't just show what they look like, but also reveal something more about who they are, what they do, maybe a little of their inner self. So you artists, musicians, actors, designers, etc, out there: do get in touch!
I love the works of Waterhouse, Rossetti, and Burne-Jones and would love to recreate some of their masterpieces. If you have the Pre-raphaelite look (and some long flowing dresses), then I'd love to work with you! Proserpine by Rossetti is the first on my list...
A picture of somebody with a lampshade on their head - is that fashion? Well, if everything else about that picture looks high fashion (eg, lighting, make-up, 'the look', 'the pose', etc...), then it somehow becomes fashion by association. This project is all about inserting unlikely objects into a fashion shoot and passing it off as high fashion...inspired by the 'Plastic Fantastic' series by NYC photographer Tomaas
