About MeI translate the world around me on paper and create it with fabric. Music is my muse, Art is my inspiration, History is my husband, Cultures are my lovers, and the Body is my canvas. This is the world of Rebel. I do what I want!
My fashion is ME!
ReBeL Clothing was established in 2000 by RoBerta E. Baker-Lundy. Her initials is where the name ReB-L comes from. She strives to maintain individuality, uniqueness, and a sense of abandon in the clothing that she designs. Using alternative patterns & fabrics, the clothing tends to be a little on the risque side, but can be whimsical in nature also. There is no one category that her clothing fits into.
Born in Boston, MA, ReBeL has always had an eye for fashion even at a young age. starting with making clothes for her Barbie and Cabbage Patch dolls advancing to altering clothing for herself. She has always dressed how she wanted & her parents encouraged this by letting her pick her own clothes when they would go shopping.
After high school, ReBeL attended college at Framigham State University for Apparel Design & Marketing. In 2007 after being diagnosed with End Stages Renal Disease(ESRD) in April of 07, she decided to go back to school, and attended the New England Institute of Art. In June 2014 she received a Bachelors Degree of Science in Fashion Retail Management.
She believes that individuality is a movement and not a phase. This clothing line is for people who strive to stand out in a crowd, who want to express their uniqueness, and who love fashion. Being a leader is the goal, let people follow in your footsteps.
She strives save the world from conformity one outfit at a time.
We would like to have a link with models, photographers, and all other fashion enthusiast in order to expand our experience and network. We hope to be able to help others out with our clothing as well as get help with our business. We believe networking is very important at Rebel CLothing, we believe this site will give us an outlet to connect with others.
