I appreciate how photography & videography allow you to curate a perspective. They are an exercise in focusing on what you find meaningful, compelling, odd, interesting - spending time focusing on and engaging with the things around you. The type of imagery I hope to create is suggestive of full and intentional living. Images of movement, of inspired places, of delicious food, of honest emotions, of beautifully designed objects.

I started my career in film and have over 10 years experience working on both film and photo sets, large and small. I worked at Belief Agency in Seattle for 5 years telling stories in the film team with some of my favorite people. I worked my way up from Associate Producer to Filmmaker, where I mostly was Director and DP on shoots, as well as Editor in post. We worked on a lot of short documentaries for brands like Microsoft and Amazon and got to do quite a bit of traveling.

Prior to that I freelanced in film in a variety of roles from Production Designer to On-Set Costumer, DIT to AC, as well as a freelance photographer. I had previously worked 2 years at a commercial and fine art photo studio – capturing commercial, portrait, event and fine art photos.

I currently live in Porto, Portugal and work as a freelancer in both film and photo, but plan to regularly make it back to the Seattle area.
