More of a Fashionista...but also fetishista.
Purveyor of fine arts in the Fashion and Beauty arena.
And with a very discerning eye and style.
I prefer working w/ the extraordinary.
I enjoy thinkers outside of "the box".
I've been immersed in this industry within various mediums through different networks for quite awhile now.
I value my time and my work.
**I'm an Independent Creative for hire**.
However, I am and will always be an Artist.
You may be surprised.
2014 : Update: DC, MD, VA.
I've been blessed w/ some time to shoot for those who have been inquiring.
My availability :
ONLY for the rest of July and early August 2014
I am doing 1/2 day shoots at nominal rates for 2-3 wardrobe changes MAX.
Interested parties may inquire via pm here.
mid -SEPTEMBER : NYC
Current focus is toward building a more stellar portfolio geared and intended for editorial concepts for fashion, beauty, edgy and avant-garde content. Aiming for more tear sheets and more cutting edge publications. Experience=Exposure.
The goal for getting published (tearsheets) is to be able to make a living from it.
I get paid to do what I do.
Magazines, publications, collaborations, and references I have are available upon request.
My rates are reasonable and I am passionate about my craft.
Pls. contact me w/ your budget and inquire via email here
***pls. check my updates above ***
It's great that I'm always learning something new everyday.
:::Always NEEDING or on the look-out :::
Wardrobe Stylists ( it helps that one can pull REAL clothes including Vintage couture) for editorial and high fashion shoots.
Brands are great but knowing how to put elements together and having a certain style of your own may impress me more.
NO TF* on any commercial, catalogue, glamour stuff. I will send you my rate sheet as my response to your PM to me.
I've been known to work with modest budgets on a not-so-short notice IF...your approach is professional, sincere and you're passionate about your art.
Regarding TFP/CD = **now an 'net term for trade/ psuedotest :Trading for our time for print or a few images in cd.
I may consider ( although RARE and really very RARE) unpaid Shoots (TFP/CD) for :
TEAR Sheets, Look Books, Fashion and beauty editorials, ideas, looks that are very interesting, highly new and/or innovative to distinctive, in concept. Intending to benefit all creative parties involved. It's about enhancing and progressing up to different levels in our portfolios.
Regarding TEST SHOOTS, very LIMITED to those with :
***Good-great portfolios, ideas and stellar Attitudes *** (yes,THAT matters)
Note to models :
Be aware of FASHION industry standards.
I'm primarily interested in doing FASHION, Conceptual , Beauty and Avant Garde editorials.
These images I have here are mostly TESTS with mua/ hair and the team.
Unless you can do your own makeup that is aesthetically pleasing to me and the project at hand, I will not shoot without a
MakeUpArtist and/or Hair Stylist.
This is my preference.
This will be the model's responsibility. I can refer you to MUA's that I work with past and present if you'd like.
Some I believe have kit fees, half to day rates that are reasonable and may apply to them as MUAs and/or Hair Stylists.
Again, re: Tests Shoots:
Unless I've personally contacted you whether you're an MUA, Hair Stylist, Wardrobe Stylist or Model then a Test Shoot means exactly that.
**I don't Shoot for FREE**. Work for free is an Oxymoron.
For Models :
Unless your agency sent you to me or are w/ a few (agency) or a potential for one that's been told to improve your BOOK.
Or we've met, corresponded and worked in the past.
Add/or if I have a current project that would call for a certain look or the "IT" factor.
It's only fair people.
Respecting and consideration for the team's time and art begets the same.
No Free-Spec work either.
In the meantime, the operative words here are :
Editorial, Fashion, Edgy and Avant-Garde.
Though my schedule changes...PAID work takes precedence.
So PM and inquire.
I appreciate others who take their time to tag, comment or send a pm for a friend request. That's polite.
I will keep posting as time permits.
Time isn't always on my side.
I have a team that I respectfully work and collaborate with.
We have fun working, it's our playtime.
And to those whom I've worked, collaborated and made art with, I'm Blessed.
So, thank you...

There are so many creatives I've connected with out there.
Thanks in advance for those who tag/comment. And for the compliments and any criticisms.
