About me

Studio 314 is a creative, urban-cool studio in the heart of downtown St Louis. We cover the spectrum of photography, but specialize in head shots, fashion, runway, commercial, lifestyle, architectural, sports, event and food photography.

Studio 314 has over 8000 square foot of studio space to provide the style studio shoot you are looking for. We have a commercial cyclorama wall for high fashion, a dedicated low key studio for artistic shots in a light controlled environment. We have multiple settings in our natural light studio space including 50 feet of graffiti wall painted by 5 of the areas top graffiti artists, an industrial section with corrugated tin and other industrial props, a 20 foot bamboo wall and a space with over 25 foot of open window for a cool natural light shoot.

We are also one block from historic Washington Avenue and within walking distance to The Landing, The Arch, City Gardens and many other great outdoor shooting locations in downtown St Louis.

Our rates are very reasonable and we specialize in helping new models get started. We are very patient with helping you pose and give good direction for getting your career started.

Our approach to helping a model work on her portfolio is very simple. If you are interested in working with Studio 314 - simply contact the studio through email, or by leaving a message on this site. If you have a look that we are interested in working with, we will bring you in for a studio "test" shoot (no charge) and work with you to see what you have. On our test shoots, we provide one high resolution digital image for every hour of work. Our images are worth the time and definitely improve your portfolio. After the test shoot, we will discuss your interest in further shoots with the studio and determine what course of action we will take in working together further. You are responsible for your own hair and make-up on test shoots, but we have a full glam squad of hair stylists and make-up artists at your disposal. Our glam squad has provided styling and makeup for multiple runway shows in the St Louis area and are proven professionals at their job. Let me know if you are interested in a quote to have someone present for your shoot.

For full portfolio shoot rates, we have two packages for you to choose from:

$0 for a four hour studio shoot, lighting included, unlimited looks,
and $30 per image for first time clients (no obligation to buy after shoot)

Starter Portfolios including 9” x 12” prints and extensive post processing:
$100 per hour (guarantee one image)
$150 for two finished images in one hour
$200 for three finished images in two hours
$300 for four finished images in three hours

Extensive Portfolios including 100 comp cards, extensive post processing, and
9” x 12” printed
portfolio (hours may be divided over several days):
$500 for 5 looks in 4 hours of shooting
$750 for 10 looks in 10 hours of shooting
$1000 for 20 looks in 16 hours of shooting
