I joined MM to build a pleasing portfolio that will work for many applications both commercial and personal. I love doing shoots as a hobby, but I am aiming for a more professional demeanor as a media, alternative and artistic model. As an artist myself, I strive to bring the vision of the moment to life.
Collaboration is my forté. Any endeavor that brings an artistic idea to fruition is more deeply fulfilled with the input of people in synch. I enjoy all styles of photography and dress, but I am a sucker for bold creativity. I want to work with more female photographers. Artists such as Francesca Woodman and Diane Arbus really nail it for me.
I am focused "into" the process of the shoot. Building on existing ideas is always fun. Digital manips are some of my favorites, as are traditional photo and film mediums. I enjoy working with other models, artists, and animals, too. ~ ;3
Things I love to have at a shoot:
*Hot Oolong tea + organic honey
*something soft to sit upon for my tailbone
*EDM, dubstep, ambient, or reggae/dancehall musik
*gluten-free organic snaks
I am not one of those flawless people, I have various scars (arms, left ribs, stomach, chest). I was in a serious car accident (thanks to a drunk driver) that broke my pelvis, coccyx, and sacrum, so my tailbone sticks out a bit. It makes for an interesting, but not necessarily unattractive look. I have one tattoo, it looks like pencil lines on my left ribs and is very easy to overlook.
I have one issue that I'm constatly trying to get around for more complex looks- I am adverse to petrochemical products, which means I only use completely chemical free things on my skin. Mineral-based makeup is perfect to avoid this problem.
If the items I have aren't sufficient for the shoot, I appreciate a safe alternative being provided, or if that's not an option, being able to limit the amount of time that a chemical product will remain on my skin.
There are many lines out there that are safe and effective, such as the brand 100% Pure. Aveda has a great line of basic makeup and their hair dye and hair care products are something I've had nice results with.

I detest the thought of a person contributing to their chances of a horrible cancer-filled death for a few moments in life of beauty-enhancement. It just isn't worth it. So, while I don't expect the world to accomodate such a request all the time, I try to find the moderation.
