Harmen

My name is Harmen Piekema, I was born on the 26th of may 1982 in a small place in the Netherlands called Koudum. I lived there until my 21st and after that I moved to Groningen. Now I live in the city of Groningen were I study Psychology.

It was October 2005 when I got my Canon EOS350D. After I got my camera I started with modelphotography. First working with girls I knew, later with models from a website for model photography. In the beginning of February 2006 I started using building lights. Later I bought a flash kit and got myself a studio. After a while I got bored with studio photography. I wanted something different. After some help from a friend I bought a portable battery and started shooting on locations. At this moment I'm still enjoying shooting outside. The only thing I use my studio for is Beauty photography. The rest is done outside.
I now work with a Canon EOS40D.
