Bio

I am a freelance professional photographer, based in the North West of England, shooting worldwide..

Inspired by an eclectic and diverse group of photographers and artists, and driven by a desire to make original photographs with a personal vision, pictures that say something about the people in them, I'd be interested in talking with any models (aged 18+ only please) and artists/stylists (professional or amateur) who might consider working with me.

I am presently looking to shoot a wide spectrum of Fashion (with creative teams),  Fetish, Retro-Glam, Retro-Chic, and/or Live Performance Events (such as Burlesque shows). Examples of all these types of work can be seen in my portfolio.

So, if you are looking for any of this sort of work, or run a Burlesque show/review (or similar), then please get in touch.

I organise regular shoots for my portfolio (please see my casting call notices, below and recent projects box above) and I am also available for exclusive commissions.

I am also available to shoot portfolios at very reasonable rates and/or by content-exchange, and I would be more than happy to discuss further any of your requirements in that respect.

Current Projects - 1 - Retro

I am currently seeking models, wardrobe, stylists, MUA etc for collaboration on high-class retro-glamour and burlesque-like themes.

Mainly 30’s, 40’s and 50’s in style.. Possibly into 60’s and early 70’s..

Ideally, you will already have an appreciation of the styles of the times, an ability to recreate them together with a good work ethic and the willingness to work within a team to produce high-class imagery that will be suitable for fine art display and publication.

Current Projects - 2 - Burlesque

I am looking to create a new collection of "New Burlesque" live shot pictures for a new project. I am, therefore, looking to collaborate with established burlesque acts, troupes or events that would consider being involved in this project.

The idea is that I will come and shoot during live performances. So day, time, location etc. will be dictated by the event proposed.

I will pay reasonable fees to the artiste (as proposed by the artiste) for signed releases and I will expect to be able to negotiate similar releases for the venues and events.

"Friends" are great, we all need them, and on MM "friends" are an invaluable networking tool.

I am always keen to make "friends" with people who have similar likes, dislikes, goals, ambitions, daydreams. So go ahead, and use that "add to friends" button. I will take it as a compliment that you felt strongly enough about my work to want to associate with me.

If you're contacting me with the idea of working together then it would also be a good idea to drop me a short note (or at least add a tag/comment) to that effect as it will help me understand who you are and where you are coming from.
