I'm sure that we've all seen commercials for products, restaurants or stores. Many times we see ads for some of the same on billboards, in magazines, newspapers & online. We also receive regular mail & emails, maybe even a phone call for more of the same. Some of it appeals to us & some doesn't. We as consumers have come to recognize these things as advertisement of the product or service. It's the American, yea WORLDWIDE accepted way of doing BUSINESS right? RIGHT. Why then, have so many models adopted the notion that if the photographer contacts him/her, that said photographer is offering a free service? You can not logically bring a hobby mentality to the table with a businessman/woman.

RANT:
I now realize that I didn't mention that this isn't MySpace. There's nothing wrong with MySpace, it's a valuable networking site. I use it. This however is networking on a much larger level, or at least it was meant to be. I hate friend request on MySpace from unknown people, especially without them messaging me first. It's 3 times worse here, because you have 3 times as many ways to contact me before requesting me! You can send a message, leave comments on my pictures or leave a tag. PLEASE use these options first. While I'm at it, delete all of your cell phone/webcam pics please!!!
