Current status: I'm not planning on shooting a whole lot before the end of the year, but here are some exceptions...

1. I'd actually like to do a couple of short (1 hour) clothed shoots with gals who can do their own makeup.  It's mostly to perk up my portrait site but I do use a commercial release.  TFP only.
2. Pregnant nude models.
3. Fire performers (clothed or nude, nude has preference).
4. Models who won't be in the area much longer who are too good to pass up.  (I know this is vague, if in doubt drop me a note.)

Hi, I'm Doug Wade, and I'm a full time photographer and artist who specializes in fine art figure work.  (I do other kinds of photography as well but it is kept separate for professional reasons.)  I work both in the studio and outdoors.  I also do portrait work, especially maternity portraits.  I sell lab-made art prints and also make and sell prints made with a variety of traditional alternative methods, including platinum prints (see the website for details).

For both clothed and nude shoots I use a standard commercial release.  If you are interested in working with me but not in having your pictures sold or online ask me about my reasonable portrait rates.

I'm in the east bay - in San Leandro near the Oakland border and near the San Leandro BART station.

If you're a local model or will be in the area and want to do a shoot with me feel free to contact me!  It's impossible to keep up with every model in the area.

I've stopped keeping a list of models I've worked with on this page because I've been here four years and it got unmanageable, but if you have the urge to contact somebody I've worked with you should be able to easily enough from picture credits and tags where it's clear they've worked with me.
