I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, then less than a month later, I was with my adoptive parents, Donald and Eydie, in Hammond, Louisiana. I was raised a complete tomboy. It wasn't until I was much older that I entered the world of makeup. My mom rarely ever wore makeup so I was kind of on my own when it came to picking up techniques for application of makeup. My first real experience applying makeup on others was at Ulta Salon, Cosmetics, and Fragrances. This was also the beginning of my addiction to high end cosmetics. After Ulta, I joined the Navy and was honorably discharged after 3 years of service. I then decided that becoming a Makeup Artist would be my next great adventure in life. I enrolled in the Lu Ross Academy Makeup Artist program in Ventura, California, and have loved working in the wonderful world of makeup since. I see myself as a highly creative and ambitious makeup artist always looking for an opportunity to artistically challenge myself and find new, exciting ways to apply makeup.
