*** OK guys, I am overwhelmed with work right now. I won't be taking any more TFP shoots for the time being, but hope to again in the future (winter or spring). I shoot with models because it expands my thinking about photographing people. MM shoots are “recreational” for me, but always with the intent of the experience benefiting my craft. I approach shoots as a collaboration between model and photographer: I want to hear your ideas, and I want you to hear mine. I want you to have at least some experience in front of the camera, and a firm idea of why you’re doing this (“just for a fun and creative outlet” is a perfectly fine reason).

I am easy to get along with (I promise); a shoot with me will be focused but relaxed. I trade finished jpg files for your time. Time for files is the only type of compensation I do right now.

I typically deliver a dozen or so medium resolution watermarked images (appropriate for MM profiles) within 48 hours of a shoot, and the remainder of my favorites as time allows. From there, you can request any or all of those as high-res, unwatermarked files, to be delivered via email or download.

I work like this:

Step 1: Come to my studio for a short visit, so we can meet and talk about our goals. No photos are taken at this meeting. This step is optional, but strongly preferred. If travel is an issue, we can skip this step.

Step 2: We schedule a short shoot (60-90 minutes, 2 or 3 outfits), which will be loosely structured, where we try some new things and get to know each other a little.

Step 3: If we are both into it, we can schedule additional shoots, with more specific goals or concepts.
