I'm Jacinta. I'm curently at university studying graphic design after coming from an industrial design degree background.
Modelling was never a dream of mine although now I find that it makes up a facet of who I am. I have no ambition to be an elite model, nor the genetics to pull it off. I do, however, get a great deal of joy and satisfaction from modelling, and it has also suprisingly helped to encourage other passions I have.
Through posing my body before a photographers lense I've developed a better awareness of the human form. From filtering through hundreds of images after a shoot, some with the smallest nuance of difference between them, I've come to appreciate composition, lighting, contrast and balance with a greater depth then before when I studied these things.
I have also felt what it is to be a performer through modelling. Because I believe that's exactly what I'm doing before the camera; acting. I must admit it has awakened in me a yearning to delve into acting- the world of thespians. Just as a small fish in a big sea, but so that I may observe and learn...I'd love to one day turn my stories into film as well as the written word. For they are both powerful media that affect us in different ways.
So. Modelling for me is very beneficial. In return I would like to give you my passion and creativity, along with a side serving of humour. Sorry, the last part is not an optional extra with me.
On a more physical note, I have some history with martial arts, I'm adventurous and love to climb appealing trees, rock faces, buildings etc. I have a fair level of flexibility, currently working on being able to do a full split again.

Working with good natured, interesting, artistic individuals is another reason why I enjoy doing this and put a lot into modelling. I also have a nice understanding with the camera lense; he's my friend.
I am absorbing all of my experiences so I can ultimately transform them into art and prose. The more interesting characters I meet, places I go to, food I dare to try and adventures I have... so much the better.
It will all be fertaliser for great stories one day.
GLOBAL: during end of year uni holidays. circa mid November to March 1st. I'm thinking the states, never been and I love getting culture shock. The IDEA is that I'd pay my way over but have enough pre-planned paid (i love to aliterate) shoots that I can count on to get me some food money! I'm going to gauge interest well in advance to see if this is feasible.
