ON TEMPORARY HIATUS: Too busy right now to take on new shoots. We can still chat, but we won't be shooting till summer at least.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. (Will occasionally be in Austin to visit family and friends, but not enough to schedule regular shoots.)

Hi, my name's Thom.

I want to make some Art with a camera. I think the human form is lovely. I also love capturing poetic images, a quiet romanticism.

[NOTE: I do not want to make sexytime with you. I have a beautiful wife and two grown kids. I will not shoot erotica or Maxim-like glamour. Just not my thing.]

I am doing three series--if you want to Trade Photography for Modeling, it's going to be one of these three:

1. Human Form in Motion and Position: dancers, yoga practitioners, gymnasts, fire twirlers, aerialists, etc. In classic leotards or minimal simple clothing or draping, looking eternal. The human form, exerting or at rest, as Art.

2. Vintage Implied nudes for my wife's mixed-media project. Kinda quaint and old-timey. Then she takes the print and applies paint and stuff, looks cool.

They would be similar in style to these, with draping if needed to adjust the photo to your comfort level:

(I will respect your modesty requests in the release and all final images as well. That said, you have the same stuff as 50% of the planet, so it's not that big a deal!)

There are plenty of photographers out there to do typical model port stuff. (I occasionally will do a QuickPort for a model. That gets you five concepts/looks, full-res, full-edit, no watermarks. Write me about my reasonable rates.)

But if you want Trade from me, it's gotta be one for of my art projects. I have lots of lovely photos of lots of lovely people. There are a lot of photographic paths to go down. If ya wanna walk down my path for a bit, cool! Let's make some Art!
