The Sexy Ink Girls reside among the swimming pools & movie stars of glamorous Los Angeles where these self-proclaimed Sexy Bitches combine modern equivalents of sugar and spice with their dangerous curves to form a nuveau form of girl power.

They embody the essence of the fantasied self-image of a generation of women raised with Barbie dolls, Disney princesses, and magazine cover girls.  Their exaggerated features, strategic ensembles, carefully placed locks, and dramatic make up are a magnification of what today's society labels "beautiful" and "sexy".  But these girls, in whatever role they are playing, are sexy for themselves, not merely objects of desire.

The Sexy Ink Girls are created using a deliberate combination of watercolors and ink.  The soft and delicate watercolor compliments the femininity of the subjects.  The black ink of the lines is strong and confident, much like the attitude of today's liberated woman.  The lines in each original piece of Sexy Ink Girls art are as curved and varied as the many roles today's women play.  They are strong, flirty, sensual, emotional, fashionable, independent, liberated, and adventurous.  The are aesthetically pleasing and concerned, yet confident, with their perception.

Their influences are apparent and include pop culture, fashion, punk rock, tattoos, comic books, Barbie dolls, pin-ups,and the brilliant cliché that SEX SELLS.



ARTIST INFO & MODEL MAYHEM AGENDA:  Pin Up Artist & Designer.  My work can be seen at www.SexyInkGirls.com  I recently launched a line of t-shirts and products and am expanding my business this year.  I am looking for models and photographers in the SoCal area to work with for print and online catalogue pics.  I also exhibit at Tattoo Conventions around the country and Art & Fashion events in the Los Angeles area.  So I'm also looking for models to walk around wearing my styles and passing out promo items at these types of events.  I have a few big events coming up this year that should be getting some decent press and I'm currently working on beefing up my marketing, so the print models / photographers / make up / etc will be getting good exposure.  I am interested in PIN UP MODELS, TATTOOed MODELS, SUICIDE GIRLS, EDGY MAKEUP ARTISTS, and MAXIM/STUFF style photographers.
