About Me

Thanks for taking the time to view my revolving portfolio. Being in focus is my form of artistic expression. I enthusiastically enjoy the opportunity to work with creative individuals. Some of my favourite images have been through collaboration — I quite enjoy the spontaneity of the wander and shoot approach as I am very easy-going and opened-minded to what our environment has to offer during a photo safari.

A military photographer by trade, I like collaborating with models who want to tell a story with their own creativity. I'm more apt to coach you, not pose you, in the creative process. A good listener, I would like to hear from you when it comes to what you'd like to accomplish in an impromptu, or planned photo outing.

My preference is natural light, and allowing Mother Nature to be our studio (weather permitting, but if you are a brave soul who does not mind getting wet or muddy, or climbing, then I am there, too).

For a productive shoot, both of us must be fully engaged. Therefore, I am a firm believer in collaboration and always entertain creative ideas in order to produce stellar and memorable images. If you and I contribute to the artistic process, the images will reflect that participation.

I usually shoot TFP's and/or TFCD's for models, which helps both the model and myself to keep our portfolios current.

GB — (no longer on MM)
I have worked with F-Stop Morgan on many occasions over many years. I have had the opportunity to work with many photographers, but no one else puts the same time and effort into capturing the perfect shot with the right props, the right lighting, the right angles. He has an incredible eye for photography and he shoots tirelessly, working and coaching and adapting until things are just right. I have been impressed on every occasion we have shot together, with the artwork he can capture and produce with me. F-Stop Morgan has been helpful, polite and enjoyable to work with, especially when shooting outdoor nudes at various locations (he even shot for hours upon hours in the rain!). If you have an opportunity to work with this photographer, take it, and you will not be disappointed.

If I had to put my experience with F-Stop Morgan into words, I wouldn't know where to begin. Do I start with the way we clicked the first time we met? Or the way his camera clicked endlessly the whole time we we're together? Shooting with him was one thing, he shot endlessly, tireless, constantly inspired by myself and our surroundings. It didn't matter where we were, A beach, a cemetery, a lake, or my house, every where we stood, we created art. As my friend it is a similar story. I have come to find that my photographers make the best friends, and he is no exception. I smile remembering our time together when I look at the animal bones he lavished my house with. I slap my lips every time I try a new wine, because he told me "that is the way you sample new wine." He was like wine in that way, As my friend and my photographer, everything was new, everything was exciting, and everything was beautiful, wonderful, art.

F-Stop Morgan is tremendously easy to get along with. He is very professional and has a great sense of humour. It was quickly apparent that F-Stop Morgan is compassionate and responsible, and simply dotes on his sweet animal companion - a delightful Jack Russell terrier. He will literally go the distance to find the perfect spot to shoot, and make sure you can get there too!

F-Stop Morgan contacted me as I was in the area where he was travelling on holidays and I was having the urge to get in front of the camera again so it worked out perfect! We messaged during his travels and by the time my shoot rolled around, it was like greeting an old friend! His chatty and relaxed nature made the shoot fun and I was more than thrilled with the results! It was possibly the only shoot I didn't wear makeup and very little post-shoot editing was required. And even then, the editing was mostly cropping and colour — sepia/black & white. It was the first time that, for the most part, I didn't edit my skin of blemishes. We had so much fun and had so much success, we arranged a second shoot for later the same week. The next time F-Stop Morgan finds himself in my area, we will definitely shoot again!
