Hello and thanks for taking time to stop by and read my port and view my images.
Please view my port images first,if your interested in working with me after seeing my work please read my Bio info etc below before contacting me please
Thanks
Brian
I was born and raised in the Sacramento area.
I am engaged to my best friend and my favorite model.
She also is my assistant on 95% of my photo shoots.
So long story short I am happy where I am at in life and relationship. I act professional so I do NOT hit on models I work with.
Your in a relaxed, fun and safe environment while at our shoots.
I have been into photography semi professionally for over 20 years.
I am a contributing photographer for many custom automotive magazines and websites that use my work on a regular basis.
I also have had my work published in many other publications, advertisements, posters and industry catalogs.
The majority of my projects as you will see from my gallery are automotive feature layouts for magazines, promotions, or ads.
But I am open to and eager to do anything edgy or new. Always looking to do something no one else has done yet! Go that extra mile to make people stop and say WOW!
I prefer "location" shoots because it gives me a variety of looks rather than cookie cutter studio type stuff I think.
Nothing against studio work, I just prefer location
After checking my port all out let me know if your interested in my style and want to possibly work together?
If you do I will have you fill our a "Model Questionnaire" which helps me see your experience and style to see what projects I might have you would best into?
Just ask and I will give you the URL to go for the Questionnaire.
#1 - I don't charge models a fee to work with me.
#2- I am unable to pay models up front the majority of the time.
I work with smaller and new publications that just don't have the budget to pay models or photographers most of the time.
But, if I get paid for our work I do split the payment with the models.
Look we all want to earn money but the increasing amount of models on MM who have little or no experience. And barely 3 images in their port from a camera phone, who aren't willing to TF and need to be paid is humorous.
If I make money I am more than willing to split it with my models but be realistic.
Look around on MM and you can see the difference between professionals and beginners.
We all had to start somewhere and there is nothing wrong with that. But we all didn't get top dollar from day one, we had to earn our way up the ladder.
But if you are open to TF/CD and the opportunity to create some fun and unique images and also get published tear sheets then you will be enjoy working with me.
This is a good opportunity for new models to build their portfolios at no cost. Or a more experienced model to expand their current portfolio to include a wider array of images styles.
#3- I have plenty of referrals from previous models I have worked with I can provide who will vouch for my professionalism when working with my models.
#4-My fiancee also is my assistant and comes to 95% of my shoots if our kids schedules allow.
So I am not here to hit on models like I said previously.
She is a former model and has a great eye to help out with make up poses etc which models seem to appreciate her opinion on the shoots.
#5 - Escorts:
I prefer like most photographers not to have them at shoots for their opinions and suggestions. But I do realize that they are a necessity for some models to feel comfortable.
If we do work together and you feel the need to bring an escort please feel free to do so I have no problem with an escort.
But please explain to this person that I respectfully request they observe from a distance and refrain from trying to “help” with suggestions to the model or photographer on how to do their jobs.
Otherwise they are more than welcome. Thank you.
I do 99% of my shoots here in the capitol city and Sacramento valley so no need for much travel for the models.
But if you live out of town and want to travel to Sacramento to work with me please contact me.
I travel to So-Cal, Vegas, and Bonneville Utah a handful of times a year so we could schedule shoots there as well if you close to those areas.
Ask for my travel schedule if this might interest you?
OK, so the most common question asked seems to be about nude work. Answer is yes I do have some projects (not all) that require some type of nudity or partial nudity but these are for models that are interested in this type of work only.
Nudity is NEVER required or pushed onto a model.
Pushing a model into an uncomfortable situation never results in good photos so it's a waste of both our time to do that and very unprofessional for sure.
So just because you see nude or implied nudity photos in my port don't think you would be pressured into doing something you wouldn't want to do. I do NOT do that.
This is why I have you fill out a "Model Questionnaire" so we are both clear prior to working together on boundaries and they will be honored.
Here are a long term projects I am looking to fill with the right models as models are found that fit these projects:
#1- Funny photo shoot, Comedy as the main ingredient.
Must have sense of humor for this project.
These will be a fun time for sure!! And definitely something new and different for both our ports.
#2- T-shirt shoot for website. Model must have large chest, model in tight t-shirt without bra (no nudity) see through or wet shirt must be acceptable.
#3-Abstract Nudes, Models must have exceptional body and be willing to model for nude body part abstracts.
No face included in shots. (B & W artistic shots, nudity required)
Fitness models,exceptional breasts,butt, etc a plus.
#4- Public nudity project, if interested email me for more details. This is a project for someone who is a thrill seeker and likes to push the envelope. If you consider yourself this type of person this might be a way to break the boredom of the same old stuff !
Will be unique images for your port I promise you!
I only can provide MUA and wardrobe on jobs where the client provides them. But this hasn't really been an issue, just wanted to be up front about it.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I will do my best to answer them.
I prefer to meet in a public place (Starbucks is my favorite

with potential models so we both have a chance to see if we get along well and will work good together?
But sometimes time and schedules don't allow for this I know.
If any of this type of work interests you or you have your own vision for a shoot contact me right away at photography916@yahoo.com and request a "Model Questionnaire" to fill out. It helps me see what type of experience you have and also what type of project interest you that I might have?-
Look forward to hearing from any models looking to create something unique we both can be proud of.
Brian
