Professional photographer with a journalism/photojournalism background & over 20 years of experience. Primary focus to date has been model portfolios and sports photography. I am very easy-going and fun to work with. Looking to network with models willing to shoot in a laid-back and fun environment!
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR SERVICES
PHOTO SHOOT POLICIES
I very rarely now shoot TF*. Too many flakey models who do not have the courtesy to actually show up to shoots that they themselves booked. I may make exceptions to this however, so if you feel you have a special case & desire to have my style in your book....... feel free to contact me and plead your case. If I am contacting you first, it's because I like your look and most likely offering you a TF* session.
I DO NOT PAY MODELS TO SHOOT WITH ME, UNLESS IT IS A NUDE SHOOT.
I would ask that any model needing to cancel a shoot do so 24 hours prior to a shoot, 48 hours if it's a scheduled TF* shoot in which I have to lay out money for props, clothing or permits. For paid bookings, models will loose their down payment if cancel notification not given prior to 48 hours before a shoot.
Occasionally I will need to cancel a shoot due to family or firehouse issues. You will be notified within a reasonable period of time & any deposits paid will be good for your rescheduled date. I will also give a rate reduction should I have to cancel a shoot.
What can I say about flaking that has not already been said? Bottom line it's unprofessional. If you take the time to set up an appointment with me, be courteous and show up. Had a bad night? Went out drinking when you shouldn't have? Be an adult and contact me and let me know you may not be in the best condition to shoot. I can look past all this. At least it gives me some time to plan other things. Ignoring my messages when I am trying to confirm that we are still shooting? Bottom line it's childish behavior. What can I do about it?.......... as per Model Mayhem policies, publicly nothing. That being said it's a small island...... I know a lot of photographers. When asked about you I may not have the nicest things to say. So lets all be mature and act like adults.
FOR ALL PHOTO SHOOTS:
All models will be asked to sign a model release and/or TF* agreement prior to any shooting. For this I will require your full legal name and proof of age (copy of driver's license usually works). All documents will be e-mailed to you ahead of time for your approval/disapproval and/or request for changes so that all parties are happy! No personal information is passed along and all files are kept securely stored for studio use only. Copies of all documents to be signed are provided to the model prior to any shooting. If you are not comfortable signing such an agreement, which I make very flexible to each model's needs/wants, then we can't work together....... sorry!
I do NOT
give out unedited RAW files to anyone. Nor do I give you images the day of the shoot. I do not bring my laptop on location, camera equipment is expensive enough! I am VERY good about sending you images after our shoot. Please see your release and/or TF* Agreement for terms on when/how you will receive images. I am very accommodating so don't let this be a deal-breaker!
I never have a problem with escorts. They will be put to work, holding reflectors & assisting with wardrobe changes. However I ask....... NO JEALOUS BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS/HUSBANDS/SIGNIFICANT OTHERS.
My shoots are drama/stress free and I like to keep it that way.
