I've opened an online vintage clothing store (click on the Hautie Haus link above) and am now booking girls to model the unique pieces I've been collecting, from museum quality garments from the 1920's and earlier-to the fun & funky stuff of the early 90's.

No Nude modeling...I am mostly going for editorial fashion shots, with some close-up beauty shots, as well. Most of our shoots take place outside, so the scheduling can get tricky during the rainy season and is subject to change. Also--I do a lot of "cyber-fitting" from afar, so please be very honest about your height and measurements so I can ensure a good fit. I need girls of all sizes and body types, but book according to the sizes of the garments that I've collected, and they need to fit as close to perfectly as possible, in order to look good in photos.

Payment TFP-> After each shoot, I will send you a picture disk full of ALL of your raw images from the day. Every. Single. One. ->The Good, The Bad, The Magickal, and even The Oh-Hellz-Noz! (((Because I believe that we can all learn a lot from seeing Everything, not just the best. And there may be awesome photos that aren't suitable for my purposes, but are something that you'd like to play with.))) They will all be unedited, but I also email my models the shots that I end up using and editing for my site, as I gradually list their items. It offers awesome potential for portfolio building and great experience...modeling is not easy! You gals do not get enough credit. I know it's an artform and I respect you for having the courage to put yourselves out there.

BUT--I am NOT a professional photographer, just a hobbyist. I need to be very clear on that point.... I am practicing and learning, just like you. I am a creative person, though, who is interested in experimenting with concepts and composition, with a good eye and a flair for the dramatic...so who knows!? We may get something really special, if the photography gods are good ;)
Any shoot with me will be a collaboration of ideas between the both of us, with both of us equally reaping the potential benefits.

Therefore, I'm mostly looking for beginner models who just want to get their feet wet...gain some experience, practice, and score some nice shots for their portfolios. And Etsy is getting serious about their models these days. The worldwide exposure you'll gain is unreal.
((International artists and photographers will sometimes drop me a line, solely to inquire about a particular model. As a matter of policy, I'll pass on the messages so she can decide, for herself, whether or not she'd like to pursue it. But please be cautious with your safety ...you beauties need to be C A R E F U L out there...Beware of thee Creepers, ick!!!))

I can provide references upon request and recommend that a model Never-Ever-EVER go to a photoshoot alone for the first time. Bring an escort!
