Toby is a multimedia visual artist, photographer and filmmaker. Toby is a co-founder of Department 4, A Creative Media Production Company based in Los Angeles. Working closely with light and experimental perspective altering techniques, Toby's work is visually and aesthetically provoking. Working from his teen years forward, Toby has shot, edited and produced films for corporate groups, independent artists, and creative collectives. Along with a degree in photography from California Institute of the Arts, he has a background as a photo assistant and digital technician, working on shoots for brands such as Kay Jewelers, Tilly’s, Lacoste and Crayola. He has produced film and photo content for musical artists, indie bands, labels, and producers, additionally doing work for From the Basement, Dillygentandson and Fool’s Gold Records.
