Bio update: 7/16/08

I am currently working on a B&W fine art nude series of the female form.  My goal is to create a body of work to be shown in legitimate art galleries.

I have been a successful advertising photographer in Los Angeles for many years.  A few years ago I sold my Los Angeles studio to photographer David LaChapelle when he decided to move from New York to the West Coast. I am still working with a few select advertising clients.  Photography has been my life, the way I express myself.  While advertising is and has been greatly satisfying, I need to nurture the artist in my soul. So I find myself working on this project, something I started some years ago but took a back seat to my career.

I am seeking models who appreciate the genre, have a healthy attitude towards tasteful images and are interested in collaborating to create beaitiful images.  I'm not hung up on the "perfect" body, I am interested in honoring the female form.   

I’m about capturing beauty and sensuality. I’m keen on perfection and a stickler for detail.  I keep my images and props simple, only what is necessary, nothing extra.  With that said, I am very easy to work with, my shoots are relaxed and I’m only interested in the creation of beautiful images.

Shoots are for trade: a signed print or maybe a shot you need done in my style.  Should you wish to be more identifiable in the images I create it's usually a simple matter of cropping or camera angle.
