Born in St Catherine Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn Fashion Designer KnitHeru went to the Wood Tobe Coburn school where he majored in Fashion Design after he found his fashion calling 6 years ago and has been an interlocking madman ever since. We are not talking doilies and tissue caddies, this shit is for real, real intense. He can crochet jump suits, fitted pants, and dresses in just a few hours. There really is no end to the extent of his crocheting wizardry: hats, swimsuits, skirts, hell our man can even crochet you a mean pair of crochet sneakers. Heru also love to drape and sew new designs with various types of knitted and woven fabrics. Drawing on ancient Egyptian Kemetic philosophies, all of his customized pieces are meditated upon to ensure only the purest of crocheting vibes. And in keeping with the spiritual theme, inspiration for his work comes from the vibrant colors of nature, along with the threads of his Jamaican upbringing. For those of those of you who aren't wild enough to wear head to-toe crochet, perhaps a scarf to jazz up those distressed jeans, or a pair of earrings to brighten a winter complexion?
