Jessica Hoffman has been a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist for the past 12 years, specializing in Print, Runway, Commercial and Film. Having worked in Los Angeles, Orange County, Tokyo and now Honolulu;  her creative designs, pure aesthetics, and infectious passion have, and continue to leave a mark on the world.

Her welcoming, warm-hearted personality will provide clients and talent alike, with a trusting, inventive, multi-faceted artist who will assist in bringing the project to its finest result.

Although Jessica never attended makeup school, the term “self-taught” is not in her vocabulary. Working with amazingly talented professionals from all over the world, traveling to nearly every continent, reading and researching like crazy, experimenting on any face she could get her hands on, and a variety of training within the Estee Lauder company while working with M.A.C and Perscriptives for many years, has been her collective education. Jessica also studied Visual Communications at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. The lessons of color theory, composition, light, conceptualization and art history gained by her Visual Arts degree have also played an extraordinary role in her success as a makeup artist.

Jessica is the Makeup Director at The Makeup Center in Honolulu, HI, where she educates women and men of all ages in an extensive 6 week makeup workshop. Her goal is to not only prepare her students with all the knowledge, tips and tricks you need to make it in this industry; but to prepare them to thrive in this industry by putting an emphasis on work ethics, professionalism, and integrity. She’s a quality over quantity kind of artist.

Her busy schedule takes her from working at home; the beautiful island of Oahu, to outer islands, and back to her second home Orange County (LA) every other month for work. She is available to travel. Jessica also has experience and expertise in fashion styling and directing and is now a published writer working for many local fashion magazines covering the beauty and fashion scene. She is currently working on a book that will surface in the coming years....
