As of September of 2018, I have moved from Tacoma out to Spokane. I took a long break from photography when I got pregnant with my daughter, and I am just now emerging from my mom-cave. Bear with me!

I am still discovering my personal style, but I tend to prefer natural, candid shots to large amounts of posing. Still being somewhat new to photography, I feel a bit awkward when it comes to directing poses and stances, and I tend to be rather vague and shy about directing my shoots, preferring instead to allow models to let themselves shine through.

While I have no experience with it, I cannot fathom studio work; it seems so drab and boring compared to the myriad of locations that can be found within a few hours of driving. From forests to lakes to mountains to abandoned structures to urban settings, there is plenty of content to work with, all without resorting to a nondescript background.

The extent of my planning tends toward choosing a location and offering the helpful advice of bringing a lot of outfits along. I may occasionally get an idea for something in particular, but generally I lean toward unplanned shoots; they tend to feel much more genuine that way.

As a general rule, if you wish you bring an escort along with you on a photo shoot, I am more than happy to oblige -- however, I will bring my own escort, to ensure the comfort levels of all parties involved. Please TELL ME if you intend to bring an escort, as well; it can honestly throw off the entire vibe of a shoot, especially if I find out about it last minute.
