"MAKING A WOMAN LOOK AND FEEL BEAUTIFUL....." This to me is the reason why I do this. Respect for woman, shooting them in a tasteful manner, not in a crude degrading fashion.
Note: Some photographers use the word "MY" when it relates to models they have worked with. I do not own or have possession, ownership of ANY model I work with. These beautiful women I have been fortunate to shoot with are free spirits. The EGOS of some make it very GRAY for others.

So you want to know the real me. Ok I'm Dave Alan and I do photography here in Las Vegas. I am originally from New YAWK! I have been around photography off and on as a hobby since I was a kid. Yes I was the kid taking pictures of butterflies in bikinis and bumble bees in glamorous poses. Luckily I have advanced on from bugs to beautiful woman...HAHA. Seriously for the past few years I shot content for model websites, but have always stayed in the background until now. Why now? Because I see many models with great potential but they lack the images to match. Without great images it makes it that much more difficult to book a client or get that call back. The competition is high here in Vegas and in other markets and your images can make or break you. Have you ever wondered why some models are so busy and why some sit home? Fact is the models who are the busiest have great images.
One of the most important things to know about me is this: I only want to work with models who are SERIOUS about SHOOTING ! As you can see by my images I am SERIOUS about SHOOTING ! I also like to have FUN doing it! So if you enjoy modeling as much as I enjoy photography then we can create some special images together.

If you are interested in working with me my rates to shoot are on my website and they are very fair considering the high level of images you will receive from our shoot. The images I create make the models I work with $$$$. It is fact. More bookings, more contest wins, more prize money, more interest in general.
Anything in life worth having has a price associated with it. There is no such thing as FREE when it comes to getting great images ones that will make "YOU" the model money and career success long after our collaboration is over. Pride and effort to get great images becomes paramount when money is exchanged. Great images drive me, money does not, but it does add to it's credibility. The model benefits far more from the images than I do. I am very affordable but will not shoot TFCD. There are exceptions but not many.
For all shoots I will provide you with a CD of our photo shoot that day schedule permitting or in less than one week. I will also provide a "minimum" of 10 edited images emailed to you within 3 days (yes you heard me 3 days) for personal promotion and web use. See my website for more details.
My images make the models I work with money through an increase in bookings and that relates to $$$. The cost of the shoot is far exceeded by the amount of bookings you will get from our collaboration....and that is a FACT !
Shooting Philosophy: I look to shoot very glamorous images that show a woman's sensuality. I think the imagination is a wonderful but sort of lost brain function in today's world. When I see a Frederick's of Hollywood or Victoria Secrets catalog I think that is tasteful and respectful to a woman's beauty, but very glamorous. I hope to always make images that appeal to all the viewer's senses. Sensual, Sexy, Vivid and Colorful images that make the model and viewer smile. Whether it be in a business suit, lingerie or anywhere in between my goal is to make beautiful images that the model is proud of.
Some specifics on how I do what I do:
a) No gels used, ever.
b) No reflectors used except for when I shot with Debra in Utah, middle of day and the results excellent.
c) No lighting equipment other than fill flash on camera a Canon speedlight.
d) All handheld, never have used a tripod all though I carried one with me once. It was to beat off any bobcats that may cross my path while shooting...MEOW.
e) No change of eye color or manipulation of body parts such as the use of liquify ( I have photoshop 5, it is an oldie but it serves my needs very well), no increasing or decreasing of body parts such as breasts or stomachs.
f) No assistant.
g) 30% of work is with new models as shown here.
h) 35% of models are natural breasted.
i) 95% of the work I do is shot with a 70-200 f2.8 L
j) average edit time under 20 minutes. All though I have mastered the steps I use to edit, I do not spend hours on an image. Many photographers do and I wonder why?
k) NO fake backgrounds as all of my work outside is based on using the environment as my canvas to build upon with beautiful women at the forefront and center.
l) My shallow DOF (depth of field) is REAL as is the BOKEH and it isn't an accident. I understand distances between forgeground & background and what will happen when those distances are varied. I also understand the power of shooting wide open and the huge room for error it can present in having the subject sharp and in focus.
m) 75% of the models do their own makeup.
