Mayhem # 368534
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Model Mayhem page. I have started a few personal lists which I am taking my time to compile. So far there are eight of them. "RTBA's List of Eye Catching Images 1,2,3" are a mix of very outstanding photographs from some really wonderful portfolios.
"Total Beauty From Head To Toe 1 - 5" have a literal meaning and are my favorite lists because of the implied diversity. I am soon going to start breaking it up into parts so that all of these outstanding images can be viewed properly. When looking through the images, I chose barefoot images, (BOTH NUDE and NON-NUDE), not do to with any personal fetish but because I feel that the models and the photographers are seeing the beauty in the human form and not just the label or brand name that is being worn, thus defining the beauty of the whole image and not the commercial value of a garment of clothing or a pair of shoes.
"Tattooed Beauty" is there for the obvious reason... That being I am a Tattooist and the art form is my passion. There is that and the fact that I am utterly fascinated by women with tattoos. Beauty upon beauty, that is my take on the subject of tattooed models.
Next there is the list I have titled "Looking For Their Big Break". I have created this list to try and help models who are new to the industry. I am taking time to go through their personal portfolios to find the truly note worthy images so that these ladies will get the notice which they deserve.
My two newest lists are "NOT ONLY ROSES ARE RED!" and "PRETTY IN PINK". These two are entirely dedicated to the red haired and pink haired models that some of us just cannot get enough of! I hope you all enjoy it.
I think that the list system was a really good idea but it should have its' own search engine here on the site. Another thought I have had is that maybe MM could run a contest of some sort to denote and give props to the most popular lists, even if the prize is something like being rated in a top ten category or something such as that. Certainly though, the Model Mayhem list system is helping give everyone the notice which they merit and deserve.
I am originally from the Tampa Bay area, down in Florida. I relocated to the mid-west about four years ago. After years of chasing my dream of becoming a tattoo artist down in Florida (All to no avail!), I have finally achieved that goal though it took a move like the one I made to attain it! I have years of education in Visual Communications/Multimedia. I studied to become an Art Director. Later I found out that I just wasn't into the corporate ladder, cut-throat, rat race.
I am an open-minded artist who specializes in the application of detailed, hand-worked temporary tattoo images of custom design. I have developed my own style of doing this while I was working my way through my tattooist apprenticeship. Yes, I am now a trained tattoo artist. I worked my apprenticeship for a shop called Evolution Tattoo Studio which was located here in Vincennes, Indiana. The shop is now closed for business and the owner currently runs a studio in Bloomfield, Indiana. Chris's new shop is called Indiana Ink. Here I wish to give mad props to my Mentors, Chris Willams and Trent Young. Dudes, you rock!
As for me, I will let everyone know when I am in a new studio or finally open my own. At the moment I am now doing my permanent tattoo work privately and by appointment only.
Please, if you decide to contact me about working on a photo shoot do so on here, through an email. If you are interested in getting a real/permanent tattoo then feel free to contact me about that as well. I would love to have your business.
ABOUT MY TEMPORARY BODY ART:
My temporary work I do on my own and we can arrange a location for everything once we establish contact.
If the work I do for you includes a photo shoot you can bring someone along with you to be there while we do the work.
I use many of the same methods to work my art on the skin which are used in the application of real tattoo work. The difference is there is no loud tattoo machine, needles or pain involved in my work.
These images are temporary and will last for days unless the areas are intentionally washed clean with soap and water. Otherwise the art can hold up to normal moisture conditions even if caused by physical activity. At most, maybe needing a bit of touch up. I have had my work viewed by veteran tattoo artists and most of them could not even tell that they were not fully healed tattoos.
If you are a photographer or a model and wish to do a photo shoot that requires tattoo images please contact me.
I have moved into bigger and bolder pieces. So, please check back frequently for photo updates.
Keep in mind that the service I am providing puts the ink on the skin not into it. There is no loud tattoo machine or needles involved so there is no discomfort or pain to deal with. Another thing to consider is that my work does no damage to the human skin and leaves no permanent scarring.
Some of the images I have posted in my portfolio are 6â³ x 6â³ in size. On average these pieces take me 30 minutes or less to apply, by hand. The time frame varies taking size, detail and placement of the images into consideration. These pieces are hand drawn not air brushed or applied with paint brushes. I am fully capable and willing to do tattoo images to any size and scale. I have developed skills in Anime, Manga and Hentai style tattoos, Black and White, Gray Wash, New School, Old School, Traditional, Tribal, Irezumi, Celtic Knotwork, Bio Mechanical, and Fine Line. I can also do Traditional Oriental and Kanji lettering.
On a footnote, I am also a photographer and most the images I post are photos I have taken myself after the artwork is completed.
LATEST ON WHAT I AM DOING:
Well, I am steadily increasing my work as a Tattooist and have recently decided to go back to school to further my lessons in photography. Once I am VIP on Mayhem I will be updating my portfolio on here. If you want to see more of my work check out my photo albums on MySpace.com...
