"Raye is a charismatic, hard working, driven woman with a heart of gold. Being in her presence will not only have you bear witness to her beauty, but more than that, you will feel her warmth, charm, and sincerity." Marlon Green, writer
Raye's journey to triple threat status begins with high intensity dancing, which includes modern, contemporary, urban hip-hop, and creative dance. When the music comes on and her performance begins, she transforms and becomes one with the music. She has awed audiences as a professional dancer for over 8 years, and has performed as a feature along with notable acts such as John Legend, Ricky Patton and the Urban National Hip Hop Choir, Calvin Richardson and events sponsored by Sheila Johnson, cofounder of BET. She was also a principal dance in the motion picture "Step Up" and as a featured entertainer for the grand opening of The Washington National Harbor. Raye dances so well and have such a keen eye for direction that she is the Dance Coordinator for the Bowie State University Dancing Divas.
Another love of Raye's is modeling. Her beauty and grace have landed her on runway after runway as her body represents healthy women and their many sizes with every stride she takes on the catwalk. Her curves, beauty, and confidence provide a blueprint for real women that choose not to buy into America's false notion that skinny is ideal.
Beyond the runway, Raye has stood in front of the cameras of some of the best photographers and consistently delivered some of the best photographs to come out of the DC/MD area. She “dances” with the camera and strives to achieve the perfect picture with every flash of the camera and she loves it.
The newest endeavor on Raye's horizon is becoming an on-air personality for TMOTT TV, a TMOTTGOGO.com production. Now she utilizes her communication skills and charisma to deliver all of the new happenings and events for the Tri-City/State area of MD, DC, and Virginia, and placing her stamp on an entire genre of music.
As a professional woman, the heart of Raye's interests is outside of entertaining. Primarily, she is a strong advocate for children and promoting how we can invest in their future. She knows and understands that regardless of how the world turns, we all must do our part in providing a better community, environment, and society for our children.
