Our photos range from the well executed long-planned ... to total premeditated social suicide. We'd rather people look at our photos in total disgust than get contact boredom from them.
Art. This is for the ART. It's to say something to the world... do something with our time... and kick some teeth out along the way.

Current Location: Reno, NV (our new place is hardcore awesome)
GEOGRAPHY LESSON: Reno is about 450 miles from Las Vegas...that's an 8-9 hour drive through a stinking desert. Please do not tell us you're going to be in Vegas, so we should shoot. It's like confusing L.A. and San Francisco.
Cities we travel to: Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas (limited travel plans, for now)

We are ARTISTS first... PHOTOGRAPHERS second... we draw more from the creative than from the technical aspects of photography. We are the creative force, on shoots... so, if you have ideas... share them, but, understand that we call the shots.
This is for ART. We have artistic integrity. If your photos suck... we will never show them to you.
If we feel like you can learn something to become a better model... we'll teach you, if you are eager to learn and work well with us. We're awesome pose coaches and have a lot of experience helping amateur model reach their potential. (finding your light, being aware of your face and body, having good lines, expressing deep open artistic concepts)
Bringing a humbled mind to our shoots... always helps. Always.
This doesn't mean crawling up our asses and kissing them from the inside! This means... bringing yourself to a level where the WORK means more to you than the OUTCOME.
We come to sweat... and kick our own asses! We expect you to do the same (well, the sweat part is optional, really).
WE WILL PUSH YOU!
BUT... we want to push your TALENT... NOT YOUR BOUNDARIES! So, PLEASE be clear on our boundaries before deciding to shoot with us. (we are tired of models feeling like they have to offer nudity to interest us! Especially when they don't have the comfort or talent to shoot nudes)
Good photography is about making a CONNECTION.
When a photographer and model connect with a camera between them... magic is made.

We're a bit eccentric and strange. We like it.
We spell models' names wrong... not to be rude... but, because we're airheads, like that.
Currently, we are working on expanding our portfolio and working toward doing some stranger more surrealist "art" (read: NOT YOUR STANDARD FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY!) Though, we are also looking to network with local artists... especially fashion designers who are looking to show off their work in a dynamic and eye-catching way.
We are also looking to do sets for Zivity.com (which is an artistic photography site based out of San Francisco)... pin-up, fashion, editorial, artistic nudes, story-telling-awesomness...
Because models and photographers get paid for every vote you get on the site... promoting is key! It's a great way to network with photographers, models and make some fans.
Our "style" is constantly evolving... and we try to avoid bland-ness in our presentation and color-work.
We borrow from a variety of vintage styles and sensibilities... but, due to Juicy's theater background and Dave's love of cinema, we focus a lot on symbolism, color, makeup, costumes, impressions, staging, and "scene setting".
_______DO I HAVE TO DO NUDES?________________
No. You are never forced to do nudes, with us! Ever.
Artistic nude photography is also a big passion of ours. We believe that nudity is empowering and beautiful... however, We NEVER want someone to feel pressured to 'take it all off' for us. We fully respect boundaries! Nudity is never a requirement... but, always a liberating experience for everyone involved, when it's RIGHT.
We are currently looking to expand our portfolio to include a lot of artistic nudes, so, that's a definite focus. It doesn't mean it's our only focus.
We must stress that we DO NOT pay models for nude sessions with us. Please do not email us with your day rate! We don't pay to see anyone's boobs (especially if they are a model I wouldn't pay to shoot clothed!).
If it's something YOU want to do... and WE want to shoot you that way... then, that's totally cool. But, don't try to get a shoot out of us by offering up your naked body. That's not fair to us... and, it's NOT fair to you.
______DOES FRACTURED FRAME DO TFP?_________
We offer TFP shoots with *experienced* models who have an overall look and personality that interests us (we really work best with people that we admire... for any reason. If we've contacted you, you know that you've caught our interest).
We warn you that it often takes 6-8 weeks to get photos from us... but, we'll always give up the best websized photos for your MM pleasure as soon as we can. Paid work always takes the front burner. ALWAYS. So, if we're working on a lot of paid projects, it takes much longer for us to get to trade work.
We mainly want to do Trade work with EXPERIENCED models. (there are exceptions to this rule)
But, if you're inexperienced (have done fewer than 10 shoots with a pro)... are you welcome to pay to work with us!
Our day rate for Portfolio building is $400-600. Which can include a whole lot of everything! (makeup, pose coaching/mentoring, props, location, CD of images and 4x6 prints)
If you are looking to do a short session and intend to come as you are... our rates are $200-300.
You get photos back to you within 2 weeks, if you pay for a shoot!
This isn't just a hobby, for us. It's hard work! If you are inexperienced, you have to understand that we are not. You pay for experience... with experience or money. It's not personal... you're beautiful... it's business!
