TFP/TFCD/etc.
I do very limited and only done as needed to keep my work up-to-date, with the opportunity to work with some fantastic photographers with their ideas and innovations in photography. Along with keeping my working prints for my portfolio fresh and ready for todays market.
Re: Copyrights
In regards to copyrights and model release for TFP/TFCD and other none paying related assignments.
I have no problem with signing as long as I retain the rights to use the photos to promote myself in any venue that will help to advance my career, and is stipulated in the agreement. If you have a Model Release form it needs to be discussed with my manager or myself prior to any shoot. This way we both know exactly what is expected of each party.
A copy must be sent to me prior to a shoot, I will not sign anything on the day of the shoot.
I also will not sign any agreement that would allow you to sell or use my photos. TFP shoots are strictly to represent each others portfolios.
If you're wishing for a shoot to sell photos then an agreement on compensation for said shoot would have to be in place. Other then representing ones work all additional uses would have to be discussed and in writing prior to the use of said photos and setting up the shoot.
