(Notice:  Just to let everyone know, I am booked solid now until Thanksgiving and won't be taking any more bookings until sometime in mid to late January, I hope.  I'm scheduled for hip replacement surgery at the end of November and expect to  be sidelined for perhaps a month and a half or more.  But, I'll be back!)

Let me first thank you for taking the time to read my bio and look over my work.  My name is David and I'm a professional photographer located in the Inland Empire of southern California.  Photography is not just my profession, it's my passion.

From the coastline of northern California to the plains of East Africa I have sought out and photographed nature's beauty.  Over the past 3-1/2 years, my focus (pun intended) has been directed towards the beauty of the human form.  I can't think of anything in nature more beautiful.  At the moment, I primarily shoot fashion, glamour, beauty, and pin-up portraiture.

If you are interested in setting up a shoot with me, please plan in advance.  I'm scheduled out several months.  My shoots are always fun and relaxed, but very professional.  Music, refreshments and laughter are always a part of my routine.

My rates are very reasonable and I can arrange for a MUA and hair stylist as needed (almost always recommended).  I shoot very limited TF with models who have an exceptional look and who's image I feel will benefit my portfolio.  If you think you have a look that will significantly add to my portfolio, please don't hesitate to ask.  You can contact me here (I check in regularly) or contact me at:

For those of you who haven't visited The Barn, my studio, I think you'll find it quite unique.  It is actually a retired barn where my wife and I raised miniature horses for 20 years.  It's a very nice, modern barn, and now a fully equipped photography studio.  I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience of being photographed in The Barn.

The list of beautiful models and wonderfully talented makeup artists and stylists who have work with me in The Barn (my studio) has grown too large to include here.  Most of them are represented in my portfolios (here and at www.photosmithography.com).  I would like to thank them and others who have assisted me in this endeavor.  A special thanks goes out to Tom Batinich at Special "T" Photography (Mayhem #88935) for getting me started in studio photography and Albert Martinez at Studio A Photography (Mayhem #140827) for his mentoring.  Both have been instrumental in the development of my studio photography skills.
