Capturing Time Photography started in 2002 when a student photographer for yearbook (and model of 15 years) started working professionally behind the camera. In 2015 it merged with another photo journalist in Minneapolis to be an empowering female team.

We specialize in unique and captivating portrait photography and prefer to use natural light and on-location management to studio posing. Having worked as a professional model, Anna & Sarah tend to have an eye for adjusting the model or image before snapping the shutter; we also love capturing candid moments. We adore long shutter speeds, playing with light, a challenging project and working under pressure.

Worked professionally for KQRC, NFL, NAFL, Suicide Girls, Organic Salad Girl, Wyndemere Oils, Festocuffs, Irv Da Phenom, The Original Sirens and other big name companies but find our passion lies with the client. Seeing them react to a photo that captures their best, something they can be proud of. As women, wives, mothers and even a psychologist and graphic designer by trade, the art of photography is captivating for us and we have lots of fun doing what we love!
