***Largely RETIRED at this point.  It's been a good long run and I've met a lot of amazing people, done a lot of amazing things, but as of now, I need some time to focus on other endeavors.  I may still do the occasional shoot here and there if the idea/location/money (let's be blunt) really speaks to me, so contact me if you'd like to talk about it.  But for the most part, I'm no longer actively seeking work.  Thanks, loves.  It's been real.***


paid work only, please.  my rate for nude work starts at $80 an hour with a 2 hour minimum.  rates are adjusted according to proximity, length of shoot, type of shoot, etc.  rates for clothed and semi-nude/implied work is negotiable.  when contacting me, please be specific about what you'd like to accomplish and capture, what my role will be in each shoot, where you had in mind for the shoot (during warmer weather i can offer ideas as far as awesome outdoor locations), and what you're offering for compensation.  this is my job.  please understand that.


***in light of some recent frustrations, i'd like to add a few minor expectations that i have as a model that i'd like any prospective party i work with to consider:

-although i gladly and frequently shoot nudes, i will not do spread shots, more-or-less portraits featuring only my junk, insertion, or porn of any variety...not even if you call it a "fine art nude."  calling a shoe a cake doesn't make me want to eat it just because you changed the name.  let's not waste anyone's time by disguising motives for something that they aren't.  there are plenty of people that would gladly do this variety of work.  i don't happen to be one of them.

-i reserve the right to bring an escort...especially if traveling outside of my local area.  i prefer to at least have someone along to assist with navigation in areas that i'm not familiar with.  i will always explicitly state if i intend to come with someone so you will be in the know...and i can assure you that i would only ever consider bringing someone with me who is familiar with and fully respectful of the creative process and would be happy to assist if needed or would otherwise maintain a respectful distance.

-i cannot change my entire schedule continuously to suit any single person's needs.  i understand that occasionally there will be a need to reschedule and i am always completely happy to accomodate this.  however, if 3 attempts of rescheduling have yielded nothing but cancellations (particularly last minute deals) then i can't be expected to continue to make appointments with you in the future.  again, this is my job.  i take it seriously.  i'd like you to do the same.


now on with the details:

i'm yarrow.  i'm a freelance artist and experienced model.  i've been featured in fine art gallery shows, posed for comic book character reference work in heavy metal magazine, worked with several prestigious artists of varying genres, been a featured model for classes and workshops, been on a number of flyers and adds, been featured in internationally published magazines, and worked in any number of environments with photographers at all levels of experience.  i like to consider myself crafty and creative.  i'm not afraid to, and actually prefer to get involved with more experimental/odd/creative projects.  in my mind, the more ground we're breaking the better.  i like edgy, i like dark, i like dramatic, i like weird, i like ART.  i like anything that draws the viewer in and holds them captive for a moment.  i like to leave an impression and i LOVE the creative process.
it should be noted that i am not a waif.  i am thin, no doubt (i typically wear between a 3 and a 5 depending on fit), but i have a strong body. 
i have muscle tone, i have hips, i have thighs, i have breasts.  so if you're looking for a wispy little thing, i'm not your girl.  but if healthy form doesn't disturb you and you want to make some awesome art, then drop me a line.


the fine details:
-aside from my ears, i no longer have any body piercings
-my ears are currently gauged to about 1/2 inch (in the process of shrinking them down from 3/4")
-i have a number of visible scars on my torso and arms from my years as an angsty youth
-i have several tattoos.  one on my right shoulder blade, on either side of my neck, a pretty substantial one on my left forearm, on the inside of my right forearm, on my upper right arm, and a large piece on my mid to lower back


i will also consider working for trade for interesting fashion pieces and/or tearsheet material.  i'm always open to discussion on this front.
