ooh lala! i will be moving to nyc in late november! i will still be making regular trips back to pa, though, so no worries. but if you're in the nyc area and are interested in working with me, i will have MUCH more availability come the second half of november.
***in light of some recent frustrations, i'd like to add a few minor expectations that i have as a model that i'd like any prospective party i work with to consider:
-although i gladly and frequently shoot nudes, i will not do spread shots, more-or-less portraits featuring only my junk, insertion, or porn of any variety...not even if you call it a "fine art nude." calling a shoe a cake doesn't make me want to eat it just because you changed the name. let's not waste anyone's time by disguising motives for something that they aren't. there are plenty of people that would gladly do this variety of work. i don't happen to be one of them.
-i reserve the right to bring an escort...especially if traveling outside of my local area. i prefer to at least have someone along to assist with navigation in areas that i'm not familiar with. i will always explicitly state if i intend to come with someone so you will be in the know...and i can assure you that i would only ever consider bringing someone with me who is familiar with and fully respectful of the creative process and would be happy to assist if needed or would otherwise maintain a respectful distance.
-i cannot change my entire schedule continuously to suit any single person's needs. i understand that occasionally there will be a need to reschedule and i am always completely happy to accomodate this. however, if after 3 attempts of rescheduling have yielded nothing but cancellations (particularly last minute deals) then i can't be expected to continue to make appointments with you in the future. this is my job. i take it seriously. i'd like you to do the same.

**please note: i'm really only accepting paid work at this time. TF work is considered on a very select basis with photographers of noted acclaim or artistic talent that mesh with an aesthetic that would help to spawn some of my more personal collaborative work (ie avant garde/surreal art images. you get extra priority points if you have access to extra large aquariums/fish tanks, extra large bird cages, or meat lockers). please understand that this is my main source of income right now. i'm still all about doing all varieties of work with photographers of all stripes and levels and my rates are always reasonable and negotiable. but a girl's gotta eat! thank you all so much and i really hope we can work together to make something amazing! also!! i'm happy to travel if expenses are covered! don't let distance be your enemy!**
i'm yarrow. i'm a freelance artist and experienced model. i've been featured in fine art gallery shows, posed for comic book character reference work in heavy metal magazine, worked with several prestigious artists of varying genres, been invited to pose for classes, been on a number of flyers and adds, and worked in any number of environments with photographers at all levels of experience. i like to consider myself crafty and creative. i'm not afraid to, and actually prefer to get involved with more experimental/odd/creative projects. in my mind, the more ground we're breaking the better. i like edgy, i like dark, i like dramatic, i like weird, i like ART. i like anything that draws the viewer in and holds them captive for a moment. i like to leave an impression and i LOVE the creative process.
it should be noted that i am not a waif. i am thin, no doubt (i typically wear between a 3 and a 5 depending on fit), but i have a strong body.
i have muscle tone, i have hips, i have thighs, i have breasts. so if you're looking for a wispy little thing, i'm not your girl. but if healthy form doesn't disturb you and you want to make some awesome art, then drop me a line.
also, i am a licensed cosmetologist, which means i'm perfectly capable of doing my own hair and makeup...though i'll never turn down another talent who'd like to give it a go. i'm also willing to pose for artists.

the fine details:
-aside from my ears, i recently removed all of my piercings
-i'm currently growing my hair out all natural. it is now grown into a short brown crop/overgrown pixie. i'm not opposed to wearing wigs to achieve a look for a shoot, but don't personally own any. please keep this in mind if you're interested in booking a shoot
-my ears are gauged to about 3/4 inch
-i have a number of visible scars on my torso and arms from my years as an angsty youth
-i have several tattoos. one on my right shoulder blade, on either side of my neck, a pretty substantial one on my left forearm, on the inside of my right forearm, on my upper right arm, and a large piece on my mid to lower back
i will also consider working for trade for corsets (i tightlace down to a 20" waist) or other interesting fashion pieces. i'm always open to discussion on this front
