Hello everyone,
The digital age has changed the landscape of photography and modeling. Anyone who has enough up front cash [which is less today than years past] can now call themselves a "photographer"; otherwise known as a GWC or Weekend Debbie.
Creating a picture is not only pushing your finger down, nor is it reading a few lighting books and following the crowd ... [45 degrees on the left on axis fill blah blah].
Much like most visual mediums people bring a certain part of themselves when creating their image, otherwise known as artist discretion. I would like to call myself an artist, but these things are not usually decided by one self but others, so I let you be the judge.
Anyone can get lucky to get that 1 or 2 good images out of a shoot. Rule of odds say if you take enough images you at least get one good one. A great photographer will have many good images from a session.
As my favorite punk rocker says - "Quality, not quantity." - Greg Graffin Bad Religion
Photography is my full time job. As such I look for paid opportunities. However, I do enjoy stretching myself. If you would like to work with me and think you have a great idea, let me know! I'm known to be very flexible for these types of situations. Meaning I do TFP but limited.
I'm not known to leave TAG's, messages on photo's, or e-mail people to congratulate them on a good port. When I do leave a comment I try to make it meaningful ... not "great port" or "love the pic". I'll leave a small dissertation on why I think its good, and what I don't like about it. I expect the same in return.
