Tao - Curt

Photography, filmmaking and music are life long passions of mine.  (as a teenager I started out completely obsessed with making homemade zombie movies and now that I am much more mature, I tend towards rabid beavers being destroyed by RPG wielding nuns, you know, standard romantic comedies).   My photographic style is to portray strong, powerful & extremely confident women.  I also love dark themes.   I view photography (much like filmmaking) as a collaboration and each of us bring something to the overall image. 

Most of my experience has been with martial artists (principal photographer on Hanbo the Aiki Way), local rock bands and nature photography (which I've conducted some workshops).  I shoot in the Valley Forge Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland areas.  My shoots are generally pre-scouted location shoots (because the condo I live at prohibits any commercial use of the property, I do not have a “home studio”).  These locations can be anything from a junkyard to a waterfall.  I welcome “TF” and paid projects and I appreciate escorts (your comfort is essential to the creative process).  I tend to use a lot of props such as guns, guitars, etc.  I should note too that my job allows me to travel quite a bit and I usually have a plane ticket laying around somewhere.  Please feel free to contact me through here or at clearcreekphoto@yahoo.com

CURRENTLY shooting a short independant film production titled A Predatory Nature. It's an exploration of the dark side of serial killers and why they kill, in other words a musical without all those happy songs getting in the way.  Check out the myspace page myspace.com/taofilmsmd for more!!
