I have been practicing fine art photography for 25 years and am interested in classic nudes and abstract body portraits. I prefer natural-looking models of all body types who have a playful sense of curiosity, an interest in tasteful artistic expression, and an unassuming comfort with nudity.
My style is very stream of consciousness. I work mainly with natural light, but I move easily between it into a studio setting. I use infrared cameras primarily, because they produce smooth, porcelain-like skin tones.
I have little interest in overt commercialization of my photography. I create prints for public exhibition and produce hand-crafted photo books. Collaborations with a model involve equal sharing of all photographs and selections of exhibition-quality photographs as my contribution in return for the model's time.
I travel widely within the hinterlands of Oregon and Washington, and provide transportation and meals whenever possible to lessen the hassle for those who rely on public transportation.
