"it's the light…"
currently i am working continuing 3 ongoing photographic projects: 'big black chair' straight portraiture; 'about a boy': female models in iconic men's clothes; and 'kimonos' (don't worry, i provide the kimono): this series that ads the flow and drape of the simple lines of a kimono to the line of the sitter's personality to create the composition of the portrait. in these, and all my photographic work, i am simply seeking to create an environment through lighting and composition that allows the story that the model has to tell (whether true or made up for the day) to find a way through. i will gladly do portfolio work in exchange for participation in the project and am open to providing local expenses and/or chocolate.
checking model references is a good idea; escorts, not so much (there are many fine coffee shops in the area they can visit after they drop you off).
