A couple of my projects do include paid shoots. But my client's expectations are extremely high. While I know every model wants to be paid, I hire based not only on look (based on client expectations), but also experience and proven ability.

A note about TF*:

I get a lot of TF requests, which I truly appreciate. But, due to my projects and schedule, I do limited TF with exceptional glamour models or someone with a look that I feel I must work with.

If you're interested in a collaborative effort, please send me your thoughts and ideas.

If we agree to work together, we should go over concepts prior to the shoot and both be very CLEAR as to what the intent of the shoot is, and what expectations we EACH have.

If you are coming in from further than a hundred miles, I am open to talking about gas reimbursement. I do not have the budget to provide per diems or accomodations for a TF* shoot.

TF is a collaborative, mutual effort between two (or more) people, each looking to gain something for their portfolio. When looking to do TF* please do not just say, "I would love to shoot with you..", then leave every single detail up to me.

A note about other topics and boring issues:

Escorts: If you require an escort (one, not two, not a car load) to be present, for whatever reason, that is your prerogative. I really don't have a problem with it. BUT, I have had problems in the past with intrusive guests as well as with drunk, obnoxious behavior - and this will not be tolerated.

Full CDs: Unless otherwise negotiated, I do not give CDs full of unprocessed images. I have been burned one too many times, regardless of signed agreements - so this is not an option.

Hair/MUA: These services can be arranged, but, unless previously agreed upon, I typically do not provide these services for TF*. I love MUAs and stylists, they make images so much better. You might do a great job at make up, but MUAs have a much better understanding of what it takes to make a commercial quality look for a photo shoot.

Magazines/Tear Sheets: Yes, I am published, and yes I've had many glamour publications or sites agree to publish, or view my work. But, while I do have many submission approvals and opportunities, I cannot make publication or tear sheet guarantees.

Experienced flakes need not apply. Regardless of whether the shoot is paid or TF, I have expenses that must be paid, even if you don't show up. If you no show and I agree to reschedule, I will subtract my lost revenue from the rate I pay you. If the shoot is a rescheduled TF, I may ask for a non-refundable deposit to offset my losses.

Nudes: Yes, I do glamour (Playboy-style) and artistic nude photographs (not nekkid pics - there is a difference). If this offends you turn on your Work Safe Mode. I neither ask, nor expect every model I work with to do nudes. And, unless your portfolio contains nudes, or you or your profile indicates your interest in nudes, I will not broach this subject. If you wish to do tasteful nudes let me know. I do have nude and topless publication avenues for select models.

Images...

... For TF: I give 3 - 5 fully retouched images per look (limited to 2 looks). I try to get you these within 2 - 4 weeks. If you require prints for your book, let me know beforehand. Images will likely be branded (copyright, name, and/or logo). I do require a signed model release and you do receive a limited usage rights agreement.

... I hire you: If I hire you for a project, I pay you for your time and talents, in cash, at the conclusion of the shoot. This is considered payment in full and you should not expect to receive images, too. However, I do typically give out copies of edited images for you to display. However, all images will have logos, copyright info and/or contact info on the image, and I do not guarantee a timeframe for delivery, or a preset number of edits I will do. Images without copyright info or logo can be arranged.

... You hire me:  If I do not have a paid or TF shoot available, or the styles I shoot don't meet your needs, please ask about my reasonable, negotiable rates. I charge a small fee per hour, then you pay a rate for each image you want edited - you choose the images you want. None of the images you receive will have logos, or any other information embedded anywhere on the image. Copyright is NOT for sale, but you do get expanded usage rights.

*Plantation/Lodge Photo Shoot Retreat:

Photographers: I am looking for other photographers that might be interested in a 3-day event at a 110 acre, large, former hunting lodge in NWFL - with ALL the amenities. It has a 29 acre lake (with tournament size bass - so bring your gear). Check in is Sat eve, July 25th, with 2 full days to shoot (Sun and Mon). There is a $250.00 fee which includes everything except food.

Models: This event will be Sun, July 26th and Mon, July 27th, and will be TF*. Style is glamour, up to your comfort level. There is no charge for you to participate. We will likely be shooting from 8a - 8p both days.
