Giac Ferrari was born in Milan in 1965, the last of three sons.
In 1977, at the age of twelve, Ferrari showed her vocation for art and started shooting with a camera purchased by his father during a business trip to Russia.

In the 1970s, he attended the ITSOS of Via Pace in Milan, which in that era was the forge of many creators and authors. From that moment on, he started a long apprenticeship course during which he collaborated as an assistant at the VOGUE photographic studios in Milan, first with Roberto Freno and then with Tani Capa, while an important occasion was offered to him in 1989-90 when he started to work as an interior photographer for Edoardo Polli's textile group. After completing studies at the IED, he finds work that will take him for a few years across the five continents. And so, making the Video Chronicler and Photographer for Costa Cruises discover his other great passion: the Explorations.

The turn comes in 2001 when she meets Kim Arena, who becomes his
agent and introduces him to the fashion world. He follows the appearance of his first portraits in the magazine "Imagine" in 1998. He started collaborating with Class magazine and then, thanks to have met Antonella Grua, director of Imagine, and Paola Carcassoli, at the magazines Gioia e Cipria.
From this moment on, his professional activity intensifies and begins to collaborate with the most prestigious Cosmetics e Fashion companies both in Italy and abroad, especially in Paris.

Perfectioned in these years of intense professional engagement his style, characterized by a "renaissance" spasmodic quest for perfection, while his passion for art deco and that historical period, he brings him to introduce in the photographs the refined and elegant taste which is found. His references are, for still-life, Guido Mocafico, and Irving Penn for the portrait.
Around the early 2000s, he founded Fotocom, which aims to promote the inclusion in the professional world of young photographers who grew up in his company operating in tourist facilities in Italy and abroad, who met during numerous photography courses and workshops.
