Group Shoots

FNS Studios hosts Group Shoot events (aka portfolio development days or PDDs) every month.
They are usually held on the second or third Saturday of the month.

Next Group Shoot - Saturday, February 18th!

Group Shoots: A group of awesome, experienced models are made available for photographers to shoot with one-on-one in a relaxed setting.
Shoot in-studio, outdoors and throughout the studio complex located in the historic Indian Orchard Mills.
Hair/Makeup Artist(s), costumes, tons of props, etc.

Frustrated by dealing with no-shows? We always book more models than photographers, so even if someone gets sick or has car trouble, there's still a whole room full of models for you to work with! All shoots are one-on-one!

Photographers - If you're interested in being notified about future Group Shoot dates, send us a message with your email address and we'll put you on the notification list. (This is the *only* thing that we'll do with your email address. No spam for you!)

Hallmarkers - We are once again open to putting together some Group Shoots that are Hallmark only, to help you in finding models to shoot for your assignments. You are also welcome to attend our monthly Group Shoots, as many of your classmates from previous years have already done.

Models - Is one of your photos on our "Models we'd like to have come to a Group Shoot" list? (That's how we keep track.) If so, and you'd be interested in coming to one, drop me a line for more details!


Studio Rental

If you don't have a studio of your own, or want to meet your model (or photographer) halfway, you can also rent studio time hourly for one-on-one shoots. 

1200 sq. ft. studio

Lights, backdrops, couches, bed, massive prop and costume collection.

Access to a ton of great little spots to shoot outside the studio itself - as our space is in a huge old Mill complex. Lots of interesting industrial settings. Indoor, outdoor, plus a river and man-made waterfall out back.

We can also put you in touch with excellent makeup/hair stylists.

No drop-ins, please. The studio is open by appointment only.

The Studio is roughly 1 1/2 hours from Boston and Albany, and 3 from NYC.
(Drives are shorter for those who tend to speed)
