I am a full time professional sculptor artist.
I live and work in Phoenix.
The reason I have joined MM is because I am always looking for new models. Almost all of my work is of the masculine male figure. I am looking for well developed muscle toned models.
This process of sculpting leather into the human torso was developed and I believe invented by me.
I developed it from techniques learned from leather-mask making.
I do body casts of the model. I then form leather over the cast, when it has set...I pull it from the cast.
The result is a duplicate of the models body, in leather.
They are hollow/mask-like and very lightweight unlike the plaster likeness' you may have seen.
The leather adds a quality to the sculpture that no other material can achieve.
I have sold sculptures to collectors from all over the world.
As well, I do custom sculptures proposed to me by the client. We work together for particular poses, special colors or other ideas a client wants to achieve in the piece and at times using additional props.

I primarily do art shows in the U.S., cities like Los Angeles, Hollywood, Chicago and here in Phoenix.
Plans of showing in Europe are in the works.
Currently my sculptures are available at galleries in Phoenix AZ., Palm Springs CA. and Fort Lauderdale Fl.
